Yes! I did it! I finished uploading the first half of this enormous novel! How was that ending, y'all? Freaky, I know! I scarred my dad for life when I read it to him in 11th grade. LOL! He had nightmares after that. I thought including Randy Dominguez's "Dishonored Dead" was appropriate in adding to the dark fantasy and horror. Remember what I told y'all before? This tetralogy is about a claxton, so it is not Tinker Bell! I can write some dark stuff, and that cliffhanger proves it. I loved the action at the Kate because I freaked myself out. What better way to end this novel than with my favorite chapter? It was so much fun to add a jump scare as well.
If it's not obvious, I adore this second book! The fun I had with it in 11th grade was no joke, and I am so happy to share such a scary adventure with y'all! Have you guys picked up on the idea that Tracey is my baby? I love that boy with all my heart, so much more than Makenna. I've done so much with him since I finished this series to add to his freaky backstory. Ash was also fun, mostly because he's Scottish, and I've always wanted a Scottish character.
But yes, because this novel is so big, with a calculated final word count of around 350,000, I decided to break it up into two not to overwhelm y'all and myself. You may need a breather after that Kate chapter. I don't want to give you too many nightmares. Ha, ha!
Thank you so much for reading this far into Makenna and Tracey's insane journey! There is still plenty of more adventure to come. The whole series has been written, so I know all the twists and turns for the future. I'm not spoiling any of them, though.
I hope you enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed writing and uploading it. I can't wait to see you back for our heroes' adventure to Atlantis and Poseidon himself! Da, da, da!
