Soul and Dream walked quietly, Soul avoided looking In his direction as he twirled the lily in his fingers admiring the flower.
Dream yawned and glanced at the watch on his wrist "damn, it's already 9" he mumbled, Soul blinked.
"How long have we been walking?"
"A while"
It went quiet again and Soul slid down a wall and laid back, Dream stopped.
"Do you want to stop for the night?"
Soul nodded and Dream smiled, setting some stuff down. As Dream sat things down Soul nodded off his eyes fluttering shut, Dream glanced back and chuckled quietly as he sat next to him.
It was silent as Dream stared up at the cobblestone ceiling, Soul breathed gently as he slept, his head falling and regaining posture every once in a while before falling onto Dream's shoulder.
Dream froze.
He glanced over and watched as Soul slept soundly, Dream hesitantly reached up and lost his fingers in Soul's gentle curls.
His hair was soft and dark with small slivers of dark blue left over, Dream hummed playing with his curls a little bit as he yawned his eyes shutting slowly.
Next thing he knew his head was against Soul's as he fell asleep.

Soul gasped and let his eyes slowly focus on the light coming off the torches in front of him.
He shifted as warmth ran through from his cheek and coursed through his veins, he stiffened when he felt a hand gently on his waist.
He looked down, noticing Dream's limited free hoodie, its lopsided smile and his ripped jeans.
He blushed.
No way. There was no way this was happening right now.
His heart skipped a beat and he sighed letting his head fall back gently against Dream's chest.
Dream shifted his knee pulling up from its stiff position as he moaned softly. In relief, his fingers found Soul's hair and he stiffened as Dream played with it.
"I know you're awake…" Dream mumbled, his morning voice low and gentle.
Soul shivered as Dream's fingers brushed against the back of his neck, Dream chuckled and placed his chin on his head.
"So…"
It went quiet for a moment, and Dream stared ahead at the torches.
"How was that kiss?"
Soul stiffened and Dream chuckled, Soul blushed the feeling of warmth pooling around his heart.
"It was…" Soul bit his lip "I didn't hate it…but next time give me a warning" he said, Dream scoffed, his heartbeat quickening.
"If I did you wouldn't have let me"
Soul frowned "you don't know that…" he mumbled, Dream tensed his fingers locking a curl around his finger.
"Say again?"
Soul sat up and turned to him, his cheeks red as he avoided Dream's eyes.
"I didn't hate it."
Dream chuckled and pulled Soul onto his lap in a straddle by his arm, Soul's eyes widened and he looked up into Dream's eyes, Dream lifted his left hand to hold his chin gently.
Soul could feel Dream drawing circles against his thigh with a free hand, Soul blushed.
"Would you like me to do it again… princess… " he purred, Soul tensed and covered his mouth looking away.
Dream chuckled, taking Soul's hands in his as he leaned forward kissing him gently.
Soul's eyes widened as Dream pulled away and moved Soul closer to him so their faces were centimeters away from each other.
"You're turning red, princess"
Soul buried his face into Dream's shoulder "stop calling me that." He mumbled, Dream chuckled.
"Or what?"
It went silent and Dream smiled to himself.
"You're so cute.." Dream whispered, Soul tensed and Dream frowned when he pushed off his lap and grabbed his satchel.
"We should keep going." He said avoiding Dream's gaze, Dream sighed and grabbed his stuff before following him down the tunnel.
It was silent and Soul stared at his feet as they walked his face pink as he willed his cheeks to stop aching.
He couldn't stop smiling to himself before he stopped and Dream gently bumped into him, He looked down at the large drop into a revean "oh, I forgot this is where this lead to" Dream chuckled, Soul shot him a look.
"Well, I guess we jump"
Soul turned to him "what?! Are you crazy! We'll die! " Soul exclaimed, Dream smirked.
"Not if we land in the water"
Soul stared into his eyes and Dream grinned, he froze something sparking a familiar feeling.
His eyes went white.
"Soul?"
And his body went limp, Dream's eyes widened and he grabbed him by the waist pulling him back from the edge.
"SOUL!"

Soul gasped as images flickered across his mind, images of a beautiful technologically advanced society, of friends and lovers and lush grass places.
When an image caught his attention.
A male about 19 with purple and black feathered wings, black hair, skin like the void, his veins purple and a mask.
The person laughed and looked at him, Soul blinked as he looked at the person he looked to.
It was him. But with long hair that was an ombre of blues, ocean blue eyes and dark skin. He smiled and twirled his Trident like a baton as they walked.
The person gasped and rushed to a flower, the same flower Dream had gifted him in the passageway.
"Look Void! It's so pretty!"
The other guy grinned.
"You should name it.. " Void said. The old Soul grinned.
"I'll name it the Lily of the Valley.."
Void smiled "that's beautiful Alex" Alex chuckled and Soul went rigged.
Alex… his old self.
His breathing shuddered when the image changed to Alex sitting emotionless by another males side.
The male was limp, his dark skin looking almost a disgusting gray as Alex stood and went over, he stood there for a moment before falling to his knees and sobbing.
That person was dead… and whoever it was it was someone he loved…

Soul gasped and sat up quickly, almost knocking heads with Dream as he held him away from the edge.
They were on the ground, Soul's head in Dream's lap.
Dream's eyes widened "good god you're okay, what happened?" He questioned, Soul frowned and rubbed his head realizing his mask was gone.
"Wait- where-"
"It fell off when I caught you, you could've died" Dream said, Soul sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Sorry… I don't know what happened- it was some kind of… vision" he said slowly sitting up, Dream watched as he stood slowly.
"A vision? Like memories?"
Soul nodded, Dream's face lit up.
"Well hey! That's great, you're remembering stuff!" He said, Soul shook his head.
"No… I'm not supposed to see my memories- somethings not right" he said, Dream frowned and stood up taking Soul's hand.
"Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure it's nothing" he said, Soul stared at their hands before pulling his from Dream's grasp.
Dream sighed.
"Thanks… now uh- how do we get down there?" He questioned changing the subject, Dream peered over the edge.
"We might be able to climb down…"
Soul shook his head "too risky"
Dream shrugged and Soul thought for a moment.
"Wait. When I was told I'm not allowed to remember anything I was told I'd have to relearn magic" he said, Dream's eyebrows shot up.
"Magic?"
Soul nodded "let me try something" he closed his eyes and let himself drift into darkness, the area around him tingling with energy.
Dream's breathing came to an abrupt halt and Soul opened his eyes slowly, watching as small platforms of stone appeared as a path to the other side.
"Well… I won't be able to get my mask back, but I guess I'll live.. " Soul said, turning to Dream who stared in shock.
"You-you… " he went silent and Soul smirked.
"Come on Mr. Prince Charming we've got places to be" he teased, Dream's eyes drifted to Soul's and a small smile spread on his lips.
"You totally just called me Prince Charming" he said, Soul glared and grabbed his hand leading him onto the first platform.
"Oh shut up." He snapped, Dream chuckled as they walked across.
When they got to the other side Dream shoved into with his shoulder gently, Soul looked up at him.
"That was cool," he said. Soul smiled.
"It was, wasn't it?" He said with a chuckle, Dream grinned.
"I'm talking about you holding my hand not doing magic" he teased, Soul's eyes narrowed.
"Don't."
Dream chuckled, stopping in place and pulling Soul by the hand against his chest.
"Don't what" he breathed, letting his head drop to Soul's earlobe.
Soul flinched and pushed him away "please stop." Dream blinked.
"Sorry… Did I do something wrong? If you want me to stop flirting I will-" he said, Soul scoffed and kept walking.
Dream stared after him before walking behind him leaving enough space to not make him uncomfortable.

They reached the surface and Soul groaned in relief the feeling of the sun hitting his skin making him relax.
"Now this is what I call freedom"
He chuckled, Dream smiled and watched as Soul picked a flower from the ground.
"The flowers here are so pretty" he said to himself, Dream looked at the sky.
Sure it hurt for Soul to ignore the kisses, the cuddles and the obvious chemistry but he had no choice but to stay distant about it.
He wanted to respect Soul's boundaries even when he knew this might be more than a puppy crush, but maybe it was different on Soul's end.
Soul laid in the grass and watched the clouds float by, "how far away from spawn do you think we are?" soul asked, Dream stared at the sky zoned out completely.
"Dream?"
Dream looked at him "sorry what?" Soul frowned and sat up.
"How far away from spawn do you think we are?" He repeated, Dream shrugged.
"I don't a long ways away… hard to tell" he responded nonchalantly, Suddenly a wave of guilt hit Soul.
He knew exactly why he was acting like this…
"Sorry… " he apologized, Dream blinked.
"For… being rude, ignoring all that's happened back there… "
Dream stared before letting his head drop and smiling.
"It doesn't bother me"
"But it does… " Soul said with a frown.
Dream sighed "I've learned to not let that bother me, Soul" he said, Soul groaned and slammed his fist against a tree.
"Dream-"
"I'm serious soul"
Soul's eye flashed red "Dream-"
"Soul, I'm not kid-" Soul growled and grabbed him by the hood of his hoodie, kissing him aggressively.
Dream's eyes widened as he slowly and hesitantly placed his hands on Soul's waist, soul wrapped his arms around his neck and ran his fingers through Dream's hair letting himself relax.
Dream pulled him closer as he backed up against the tree, the clasp to his mask clicked and then fell from his face.
Soul sighed against his lips as he pulled away, Dream looked down at Soul and chuckled quietly.
"You did that on purpose"
"Maybe~" he purred, brushing his lips against Dream's, Dream dug his nails into Soul's waist and he gasped burying his face into Dream's chest.
"You liked that didn't you" he smirked, Soul shivered when Dream turned slamming Soul against the tree.
"You're playing a dangerous game"
Soul bit his lip, "good… I like dangerous"
Dream smirked, kissing his neck, leaving dark marks as his hands slid down Soul's waist, one teasing the waistband of Soul's jeans.
"OH DREAAAMM~"
They froze and Dream's head snapped up, "they couldn't have gotten this far already. " Soul's breathing picked up and he pushed Dream away from him.
"We need to run"
Dream sighed "no. I'm done running"
"What?"
Dream cupped Soul's face, "you're the one who needs to run" he said, Soul's eyes widened and he shook his head.
"No. no I will not."
"Soul."
"Dreaaaammm~"
"No."
Dream took a deep breath and pulled soul away from the tree "then I guess I'll just have to force you to." He snapped, Soul's eyes widened when Dream pushed his chest. His foot slipped and next thing he knew he was falling, "DREAM!" he screamed before hitting the water letting the darkness envelop him.
