They made their way through the crowded airport.
Do-Sik was still exasperated about the remarks that Sang-Jin made about his golf career. And he was even more vexed because deep down he knew it was all true.
Maybe he should not have belittled his writing career.
"We are in Seoul now," Sang-Jin said to Do-Sik, knowing they would part ways soon. "I hope was in good company."
"Let's just say it's an experience I won't want to repeat."
There was a hint of indignation beneath the words.
"I couldn't agree more," Sang-Jin added coldly.
Scanning through the crowd, Sang-Jin saw Nam Dae-Moon walking towards their direction.
His heart leaped, then it sank again as he realized that each step was bringing them closer to each other.
Even at a distance Sang-Jin could feel his commanding presence, well he was after all a member of a chaebol family.
A feeling of warmth started spreading through Sang-Jin as everything in the universe came to a stand still.
Looking at it now, it all seemed simple, they were riding in Dae-Moon's SUV and that's how their love affair began.
Sang-Jin remembered all the things that Dae-Moon had said to him and at this very moment they were left running through his head.
They didn't stand a chance.
All the fun dates and wishing they could go back to how it was before Dae-Moon burned everything down.
Once again they were in the same space and yet it seemed like an ocean was between them.
"It's time to let go," Sang-Jin whispered to himself.
Nam Dae-Moon was getting closer.
And in a moment of panic Sang-Jin decided that he didn't want to be seen. So then he had to do something to avoid their eyes meeting.188Please respect copyright.PENANA0uQrtDQEi5
In heightened desperation, Sang-Jin turned, hugged Do-Sik before burying his face in his chest just as Nam Dae-Moon looked in their direction but kept walking on.
The hug was so sudden and so unexpected, and so impulsive that Do-Sik was taken aback.
Then as the hug prolonged, he felt excitement stirring within him and everything started spinning.
The gesture was simple but it's impact was complex.
The pressure of Sang-Jin's face pressed against his chest was exquisitely tender, almost reverent.
His heart searched for answers to questions that were never asked.
He felt Sang-Jin's panic, his desperation and somehow knew that he needed him right now.
His world started spinning again.
After a long moment Sang-Jin took a peep.
Nam Dae-Moon was gone.
Sang-Jin signed with relief.
