Sang-Jin came out of the kitchen sipping a latte the next morning when the door bell started beeping.
Quickly he rushed over to answer it.
"Hello and Good morning," he greeted with a sip of latte.
"Good morning to you too," Han Yong-Min declared as he strolled into the apartment.
"I brought you flowers."
He handed the nice bouquet of chrysanthemums to Sang-Jin.
"Thanks "
Sang-Jin collected the chrysanthemums and placed his latte down, before reaching for an empty vase.
"So how is my best selling author doing?"
"I feel like I have been thrown into a cement mixer. Thank you."
Han Yong-Min looked around and asked: "Is he still here?"
"No, he has left, thank goodness."
"And you mother and sister?"
"They have gone to visit my grandparents. Mother wants them to talk Ji-Hye out of marrying Enn-Ho."
"Well good luck with that."
Sang-Jin arranged the chrysanthemums before going into the kitchen to fill the vase with water and bringing it back.
"Do you have golf clothes?"
"Yes, I do."
For the first time Sang-Jin noticed that Han Yong-Min was dressed for golfing.
"Are you going golfing?"
"Yes, and you are coming with me so go change."
Do-Sik had spent nearly two hours practicing his swing on a golf course that was situated on a hill top property which offers ocean vistas from each of it's 18 holes.
He did not have a swing coach because he decided to do it all on his own.
Now he owns his swing and he knows what's going on each time he swings his clubs. He knows when his swing hits good and when it hits bad.
As he took another swing, Do-Sik decided to switch his golf equipment. Maybe that might improve his ball striking ability.
Across that same golf course Han Yong-Min was busy negotiating a golf cart through green valleys, inlets and along slender plateaus.
Beside him was Im Sang-Jin in a smart looking golfing outfit.
Han Yong-Min pulled the golf cart to a sudden stop and looked around.
He decided to take a right turn and off they flew across the lush green course.
"Look over there," he said to Sang-Jin.
Sang-Jin turned and did see Shin Do-Sik swinging his club. They got off the cart and approached the golfer.
"Hello, Mr Shin," Han Yong-Min said with a smile.
Do-Sik did not even look at him, rather his gaze was focused on Sang-Jin.
"What are you doing here. No wait, are you stalking me?"
"I have hobbies that take up my time you know," Sang-Jin retorted sarcastically.
"We are here to talk about a business proposal," his Publisher quickly jumped in.
"You will have to speak with my agent first."
This is personal in nature and the fewer people know the better."
Do-Sik was demented.
"Please, break it to him gently," Sang-Jin whispered to his Publisher.
"Have you seen this online article?"
Han Yong-Min held up his phone for Do-Sik to have a look.
His eyes grew wide with an astonished horror.
"What's this nonsense? I am not dating Sang-Jin."
It looked like he found the very idea offensive.
"Yes we know that but the public doesn't. And I would like to propose that you go along with it and pretend you two are a couple."
"What for?"
"It's merely for publicity. Which we will use to promote Sang-Jin's next book."
"No, thank you. I am not interested in your suggestion or cheap publicity."
"It will be worth your while if you agree to my business proposal. You will get 10 percent of all Sang-Jin's royalties."
"No. I am still not interested and I will hold a press conference and deny the whole thing."
And just before leaving, Do-Sik turned towards Sang-Jin and said: "Stop stalking me."
