Fea spent a few nights in the clearing. His thoughts wandering between where he was going to live. Between that and school and not wanting to involve Liam in his troubles he had no choice but to drop out. He still went to see Liam everyday. Liam noticed something was off with Fea as he hugged him." Fea?...are you ok? You know you can always talk to me." Liam soothed. "I ruined ya Liam...I slipped...Father said we were moving and I didn't want to go...I told him about us I'm so sorry!" Fea explained sobbing. Liam hugged him tighter.
"Fea you didn't ruin us. I still love you" "he kicked me out...I've been sleeping in the clearing...I had to drop out of school." Fea explained. Liam frowned. Fea buried his face in Liam's hair. "I'm sorry this happened to you. I'll talk to mom maybe you can stay with me." "I don't want to trouble Tiffany" "mom loves you Fea and so do I. I'm sure she wouldn't mind" Liam said hugging Fea more. "Liam I don't have any of my stuff...no job to pay for anything." "Shhh we will figure something out." I love this boy so much. Fea said in his head as he continued hugging Liam.
As the hours passed Liam never left Fea's side. He took Fea home with him and talked to his mother about Fea's situation. Hearing this made her cry. "Oh sweetie of course you can stay here! I'm so sorry!" She said hugging Fea. "Are you sure Miss. Andrews?" "Please call me Tiffany. And yes. No one deserves to be kicked out and shunned for being who you are." Tiffany said. " now, how about we get in the car and go shopping? You are in need of some clothes. And while we are out we will get some lunch too." Liam smiled. " can I come too?" "Of course!" His mother said as we all got in the car and drove off.
Why can't father be this nice? Fea thought to himself. Once they arrived at a local store Liam took Fea's hand in his and hissed it. This made Fea blush and smile. "Come on boys shopping time. " Tiffany called to them. They spent hours picking out a new wardrobe for Fea. "Thank you so much. I can't express how grateful I am." Fea said as he hugged Tiffany. She smiled and returned the hug. "It's my pleasure sweetie. How about we go get something to eat?" Fea nodded as they got back in the car.
They stop at a restaurant and get seated at a table. The server comes and takes their order. Liam smiled and kissed Fea's cheek. "I love you." He said looking him in the eyes. Fea returned the smile. "I love you to Liam." The server comes back with their food and drinks and they eat in silence for a moment. Tiffany looked up from her plate. "Fea about your school situation..." she starts as she takes a sip of her tea. "How would you feel about attending the same school as Liam?" Fea looked up at her and nodded. "I'd love to!" She smiles. "Then it's settled. We just need your transcripts and health card." Fea looked down. "What's wrong?" She asked concerned.
"My father has it...I haven't spoken to him since he made me leave..." Tiffany frowned. "Oh..." "I could maybe leave him a note in the mailbox asking if he would give them to me?" Tiffany sat in thought for a moment. "With a shot." She said. A few moments later they had finished their lunch and got back in the car and headed home. Fea sat at the dining room table and began writing to his father.
Father,
I'm sorry that I have disappeared you. I've always wanted to make you proud and I failed. But I cannot deny my feelings for Liam. And if this means we no longer talk or see each other then so be it.
I'm writing this to you because I need my health card and my transcripts to attend a new school and would appreciate if I could get them from you. I'm staying with Tiffany and Liam at least for now until I can get a job and see how things go. I do love you father but I refuse to hate someone because of who they love.
