Six Swords
"Finally!" Silver, Mai, and Zoki ran up the stairs; the sun was oddly bright as they saw the rest of the group facing off against the spear-wielding girl.
"Mai, you're alright!" Parce smiled as Tempo frowned slightly.
"I guess that means Link lost," Tempo placed her fingers in her mouth before letting out a great whistle. At that moment the ground underneath them starting to rumble as a large Klyt dug its way through the building and onto the roof, appearing next to it was a giant winged creature.
She wasn't planning to fight alone, as Silver eyes narrowed before Richard grumbled slightly drawing his sword.
"...Temp, do you need to fight?" Parce frowned as Tempo winced.
"Um hey, Tempo...can we skip the fight?" Silver asked with a smile.
"I..." Tempo paused as if she was holding her breath,
"Don't bother trying to talk sense into her she's half monster anyway," Sara mocked.
"Shut up! And stop being mean Sara," Tempo replied.
"Please Tempo...we don't have to fight," Parce, his voice sounded oddly sweet as Tempo's eyes widened for a moment before she bit her lip.
"Parce...I," Tempo still couldn't think of anything to say.
"Come on, I know you're probably really nice, but no one can see it if you do things like this," Silver added
"B-b-but-I ah," Tempo then held her head for a moment, pulling her ears ever so slightly, "f-fine you can have it back," Tempo then snapped her fingers as the Klyt shook its body ever so slightly as a small orb fell out of its coat.
"Wow! That worked, that monster freak can understand us," Sara snickered as Tempo glared at her.
"If this is what Parce wanted to do, then I can't sto-" Tempo was cut off when a small bolt of electricity hit her and her monsters, knocking her out. All three of them slumped over as Silver's eye twitched.
"What was that?" Richard said backing up.
"A spell?" Verm said, his eyes narrowed.
Before anyone could react, a distortion appeared before them. As if the world itself was getting bent and broken apart, both Silver and Zoki looked at one another. It wasn't something a human was capable of.
A figure slowly pulled itself out of the distortion, it was covered in an inky liquid, after a moment the liquid vanished revealing a large fluffy purple dress. It was a teenage girl with bright red hair and a silver staff.659Please respect copyright.PENANAt3cRG4sK7q
Her eyes matched her dress as she looked down at Tempo before scoffing.
"Is this brat the girl she wants?" The girl asked herself.
"You! why are witches here?" Silver's eye twitched, they were even rarer than demons and holy ones.
"Oh it's the daughter of the demon lord, sorry I don't have time to play...so I'll be taking this girl." The witch then lifted her staff as a blinding flash of light blinded the group...when they finally regain their sight. Both Tempo and the witch were gone.
"..."
"D-did Tempo just get kidnapped?" Silver yelled.
"I...think so," Parce replied, despite what had happened he was eerily calm as if he really didn't care.
"Well, it serves her right for all the trouble she caused," Sara said.
"That doesn't matter we got the core back let's just get out of here," Richard said.
"...So you guys are just going to let a little girl suffer?" Zoki said.
"I wouldn't call her innocent," Floyd replied.
"Gah! it like this is just wrong, plus..." Silver tapped her lip; it would have been a lie if Silver said she wasn't interested in what the witches were planning.
"Well I want to hurry up and get back home," Richard snapped back as Silver grumbled slightly.
"Whatever we do from here standing around won't solve anything," Mai said.
"Do you know who would kidnap her?" Verm asked.
"Ah..." Silver and Zoki then looked at one another, saying that it's classified may not be the best idea in this kind of situation.
"No, we do not know who kidnapped her," Zoki said.
"Regardless, staying here is a waste of time," Floyd added.
"Well some of us here still want to explore the Castle..."Parce added.
"You all go on ahead me and Silver will take a look around the facility," Zoki said.
"Are you sure?" Mai asked.
"Yeah we are, plus we probably won't be going back with you all so just get on the ship without us." Silver added.
"...Really? After all this you want to stay?" Sara said.
"Don't worry we will just catch the next boat or something," Silver smiled.
"Very well," Verm stated as the rest of the group slowly walked off the roof leaving Silver and Zoki to discuss what had just happened.
"Silver you want to save that girl don't you?" Zoki asked as Silver shrugged.
"Was it that easy to tell?"
"It will take a couple of days for me to locate the witch. However, I doubt they will leave the immediate location If they are doing what I think they are doing then they may be in a forest near here," Zoki said.
"Um, what do you think they are going to do?" Silver asked as Zoki glared at her friend before crossing her arms.
"Come on Silver; your tutors taught you about them right?"659Please respect copyright.PENANAlPygYfizn3
Silver face reddened as she looked towards the ground, she pouted ever so slightly as Zoki rolled her eyes.
"Ugh, they are most likely planning on making a copy of that girl's form to put a witch's spirit. Their bodies tend to decay after a while, so most witches are required to take a new shape. They do this by making a copy of a form they like,"
Silver tilted her head slightly, "I don't get it, but it will take them awhile to finish right?"
"Yes, a few days in fact,"
"Great! It will be like camping...but we are hunting evil witches!" Silver replied.
"But before we do any of that I would like to go to the main hall..." Zoki replied.
"Well, we have to stop by there any way to leave so why not?" Silver shrugged agreeing to the request.
The duo walked through the research facility; the others had most likely long since left the building as they arrived on the bottom floor, or what some would call the main hall as Silver brushed her hair to the side and glanced over at Zoki.
"Well? What do you need to do?" Silver asked.
"Don't you feel it? A demonic presence...no more like a spirit," Zoki asked.659Please respect copyright.PENANAJhKksdXEYu
Silver closed her eyes as she took a deep breath, "no not really...which is odd." Silver said.
"Maybe it's because it's bound by a weapon..." Zoki then looked at a sword in the middle of the room.
It was large, no human would ever hope of wielding it, it was of some bronze or silver material as a thick mist rose from the blade and handle.
"...That sword was not there before," Silver eyes narrowed as Zoki tapped her lip.
"Perhaps a demon before us placed a protective familiar here, the reason it did not show up before was mostly likely due to a significant amount of humans covered our presence. However, now that it is only the two of us it might be prepared to activate,"
"Either way, I can not allow it to stay here when considering I'm planning on leaving," Zoki said.
Zoki then walked up to the sword and touched the handle pulling the sword out of the ground. The moment she did a voice echoed through the air.
"Do you have you power I desire...? the strength to fight me?"
"...Yes, we do..." Zoki replied bluntly as she dropped the blade.
The sword started to shake as the mist began to take on a solid form. A giant knight that towered over them; it had six arms in its being seemed to have been made up of bits and pieces of armor. It was a being that consisted of history, right down to the large blades it wielded.
"Well, I figured as much..." Silver smiled, she stomped her feet on the ground, and the whole castle shook, she then opened her hand and showed her claws; her eye's flashed red as Zoki rolled her eyes.
"Always showing off aren't you Silver?" Zoki sighed taking out her weapon.
The Metal Knight charged at the duo who swiftly dodged the attacks, Zoki raised her gun and fired four rounds into the creature.
The monster merely raised its sword, blocking the bullets, the impact of each bullet knocked it back as Zoki bit her lip. Silver then raised her hand before dragging it across the ground, with a sweeping motion let out a sharp shock wave towards the sword user, who only blocked it.
"Damn what an annoyance..." Silver sighed, "I don't mind killing this thing but just bashing it is boring..."
"Well, then what fantastic way do you wish to destroy it?" Zoki asked still throwing swords and dodging attacks.
"...Do you have explosive rounds?" Silver asked, trying to cut off one of the creatures arms off.
"Yes, why do you ask?" Zoki said as she ducked avoiding another blow.659Please respect copyright.PENANAa9RXSs0UO4
"I want you to blow multiple holes through the ceiling until I can see the sky!"
"...Do you know how long that would take?" Zoki yelled while continuing her assault on the monster.
"Hey this is the first battle that I can show off, I want it to be awesome!" Silver smiled as Zoki scratched her head.
"You are a child," Zoki sighed as she threw her pistol into the air. The weapon slowly morphed into what appeared to be a rocket launcher as Zoki fired it upward towards the ceiling blasting a hole in it and letting the sun rays pour into the building.
"Happy?" Zoki sighed.
Silver smiled dodging one of the sword dancers attacks; she then grabbed two of its arms. She then jumped up and placed her feet firmly on the creatures chest.
Before the monster could move Silver yanked off the giant's arms before smiling.
"Okay! Time to summon the Blue Moon!" Silver the lifted her hand towards the sky as the sun was eclipsed my a round object, the whole castle was engulfed in a brilliant blue light.
"You're kind of lucky...not many beings demon or not get to see this skill.659Please respect copyright.PENANAvJSDFSu9pc
Suddenly the knight's body collapsed, and it fell to the floor as if some unseen force was pulling it down. Blue rays pierced its armor and body as if a fire was burning through it.659Please respect copyright.PENANAUSQacw4Itm
"Can't move? I just pushed the gravity up a little bit and a large guy like lift his sword anymore?" Silver giggled, "this thing won't be here for long...I'll kill you quickly,"
Silver then lifted her hand and moved her fingers ever so slightly, at that moment the monster was cut into three pieces, it was evident that its body could no longer sustain its form as its body slowly vanished before the blade that summoned it shattered.659Please respect copyright.PENANAWzRYja284U
"...Why do I have this lingering feeling that we haven't seen the last of him, I wonder who summoned him in the first place," Zoki crossed her arms as Silver shook her head.
"We don't have time for that we have to look for Tempo!" Silver yelled running out of the Castle."
Zoki sighed "I can't believe I'm going along with this."659Please respect copyright.PENANArSjOgcyTgf
