I look up and see the thief running away with my bike. Luckily all my painting stuff was with Remus. I stand and feel the sharp pain in my back. I fall to the floor and try to pull out my phone but things were spinning all around me. I pull up the first contact I had, Remus
"Hello," Remus says.
"Remus, it's me." I say gasping for air.
"(Y/N), whats wrong?" Remus says in a shaky voice.
"I need you to call and ambulance," I say as I slur the words and pass out hearing Remus call my name.
I wake up with white walls surrounding me. I feel sick and tired.
"(Y/N) are you okay?" I hear and look around and see Remus sitting on my bed leaning over me.
"Mr. Lupin give him some space." The nurse says.
"Where am I?" I ask as I look around.
"The hospital, some maniac stabbed you. I knew knocturn ally wasn't safe, yet that's where they put the bike locks." He says. I feel something warm against my hand and look down and see it's Remus' hand. I hold it for a second.
"Why are you here?" I ask as I notice how late it is at night. I look over to the alarm clock and see it is 3 am.
"Because you're my friend."
"You're all of our friend." I hear and look over and for the first time notice Peter, James, and Sirius sitting in chairs.
"Thanks." I say as I cough a little and then hiccup.
"Sorry im late, had a late night shift." A girl says as she walks in and sees me on the bed and smiles. "you're looking better than when I left, and you're awake which is good." She says and I nod.
"Who are you?" I ask and she smiles.
"Lily Evans, James' girlfriend." Lily says, her fire red hair almost glowing.
"You're the famous Lily Evans I've heard so much about." I say coughing again.
"You talk about me?" Lily asks looking over to James.
"He doesn't stop." Sirius answers before James can. I laugh at this cause I know it's the truth.
"Well thank you then." I hear Lily say then I look over to Remus and smile. He smiles back with a tight lip then turns away.
"Are you okay?" I ask him and he nods.
"I will be." He says.
"Well I asked now not later." I say and he smiles over at me with tears in his eyes.
"I was so scared when I saw you laying down in, well your blood." Remus says shivering.
"I can see how that would affect you."
"Now you need to rest. Goodnight." Remus says as he smiles and lets go of my hand. Suddenly my hand feels cold as ice. I pull it under the covers and close my eyes. When I open them again I look out and see the sun has risen and then turn to the alarm clock and notice that it is 8 am. I look over and see James Potter sleeping on the chair.
"James." I say and he is startled awake.
"Hey, you're up, i'll go get the others, they went down to breakfast." He says and I shake my head.
"I want to talk to you first." I say ready to say something, important.
"What is it?" He asks and I gulp down some air.
"Is Remus single?" I ask and James' eyes widen.
"No, why?" He asks with a huge smirk.
"Does he like guys?" I ask and the smirk grows wider.
"Yeah, he wouldn't want me telling you this but he is a raging pansexual." James says.
"What would he do if I told him I liked him?" I ask and James jumps up with what seems to be glee.
"He would, well, I don't know. You would be Remus' first boyfriend and second relationship ever." James says as he smiles. Then suddenly the door opens and in walks peter.
"Peter, hey." I say and Peter smiles.
"You're awake, how are you?" Peter asks carrying two sandwiches
"Good enough to eat, did you bring me anything?" I ask as I sit up and Peter smiles.
"You know i did, here. Egg ham and cheese breakfast sandwich." Peter says as he gives me a sandwich and I smile. Next in walks Sirius Black, the drama queen i've learned.
"Morning sleeping beauty." Sirius says as he drinks his coffee and then looks over, "sleeping beauty you're awake!"
"I'm going to head out, i'll be back." James says as he gets out of the chair and then leaves the room. I finish eating my sandwich then Sirius begins to grill me with questions.
"What was it like getting stabbed?" Sirius begins.
"Sirius you can't ask that." Peter says wacking him upside the head with the newspaper he has in hand.
James POV
I walk out of the room and hear a loud wack and look back. I roll my eyes. I then see Remus stepping out of the elevator.
"Moony wait before you go in there." I say and Remus looks horrified.
"What happened?" Remus asks as I tell him to calm down and sit. I then explain that he is fine.
"Yeah no he's all good." I finish as I watch Remus sigh.
"So what was it you wanted to talk to me about?" Remus asks and I smile.
"Well you know how you have a crush on (Y/N)?" I ask and Remus rolls his eyes.
"This is not a good time to ask him out. For the thousandth time." Remus says as he stands.
"No not that, listen." I say and he sits back down.
"What?" Remus asks as he touches his scars.
"Well he likes you back." I say.
"How would you know that?" Remus asks.
"Well he basically told me. He literally asked me what how I think you would act if he asked you out." I say and Remus turns a deep shade of red and I laugh.
"And what did you say?" Remus asks.
"I said I don't know." I say and he nods.
"I can't believe he likes me." Remus says with a smile plastered on his face.
"Yep, now go get him tiger."
