What is Hope?

Can you tell me?

Do you know?

I'll tell you what it means

It's something that you keep with you

It's something you hang on to

It's something that keeps you going

When things are tough

When things are bad

When you're on a rough road in life

It keeps you going

When there seems to be no way

Hope is what you'll have forever

If you have hope at all

Hope keeps you happy and alive

And keeps you grateful

It keeps you believing in things

In yourself

In others

And in something that's happening

At that point of life

And that's when you find Hope

Find yourself giving into Hope

That's what Hope is

Anybody can have Hope if they try.
