Humans come and go

But only the best are remembered

You dress up in black and white and say

"She was the best"

But will she truly be remembered?

Xander Lavelle Harris looked at Andrew

"Did she...? How...?"

It was hard

Anya had died in battle

He had loved her

They had been exes before she had died

Andrew let him know that she died a hero

She kept Andrew safe

That assured Xander to a point of relief

Anya was gone

But she had died a true hero.
