The sun almost sets and Ai sits in her garden looking over the plants, her eyes slowly narrow and from the distance a male voice is heard "Ai, you lucky woman"
She take her look at him and says "fenhua is that you?" Fenhua laugh out loud as he enters her garden "I'm back with bones and skin again" Ai smirk and they sit talking together, at the night they heard more voices in the distance, three males and one female arrive and they enter inside, before even talking Fenhua says "hello general, Klaeben, Swaiwan and what was your name?" Before the woman talks the general says "how did you recognize each of us?" Fenhua leaves a short laugh "from your eyes, for instance general your serious stare has been carved in my mind" the woman then says "I am anjian" They all talk with each other and Klaeben walks to Ai, smiling at her "hey, it's been a long time" she smile back " I missed you" Klaeben leans back and his face freeze "you haven't heard it from someone?" Klaeben face goes back to normal and he says with a serious voice "I want to speak with you" they go inside and they sit on the couches, Klaeben stare at Ai and he says "Ai, I didn't want to talk about it now but you remember what happened at the cave" Ai says nothing and Klaeben continue "I will make it quick, the next time we see them try to run away, do not look back or think about anyone, think only about your life" Ai shouts "Klaeben you know I cannot leave anyone behind" the others come inside and for a glimpse he stare at her with a serious face.
They all sit on the furniture except Lixin that speaks first "Ai I'm grateful you brought us all back" he stops for a glimpse and continue "now we have to talk about what happened to us, what we saw and what we must do" Klaeben talks after him "the obvious thing is that we reincarnate because of the crystal that we touched" he makes a pause and takes a deep breath
"the man before he killed us says to find him to kill us again, so they know about the use of the crystal and it's sure he was affected by it" fenhua says "why would he tell us to come at him and kill us again?" Klaeben replies "he may played with us or maybe he meant he has a way to kill us and forget all of this" everyone stays silent.
After many silent stares general Lixin cross his hands and says "we can discuss his waffle words later, you better come with me and join the army again and travel with me to the grega, the enemy may be there plotting" Klaeben grunts "first we must make a conclusion, we know nothing of them or their goal or their powers" Swaiwan adds "the man killed us with a touch of his hand" drops of sweat fall from his forehead and his mouth make a twisted smirk.
Anjian says "why should we bother with them? We can just live our loves completely away from them and nothing will change" Ai responds "they may be more like us who need help" Klaeben nods his head and adds "besides they will surely plot against people and destroy many lives" Anjian murmurs "so we will play it heroes" Klaeben says "we don't play it heroes, we just want to find answers and maybe understand better what is happening on us"
The others say nothing and Ai adds " we are at a dead end, let's better focus on how we will meet after our next reincarnation"
Fenhua says "we can meet here or at best convince the emperor that we reincarnate" Swaiwan says loud "it's not so simple, we may reincarnate at different times and in different conditions or at worse another country and besides saying things like that infront of the emperor ks a blasphemy, he will kill us if we dare to say things like that" everyone stare pensively at the floor, Lixin says "we can do what Ai did and meet every tenth of july in this periphery or be recruited in the army" Klaeben says "and what if we can't do neither of them?" The general raise his tone "nothing, we will just continue and wait them in the next life" Ai says "we can't leave anyone alone" Both stare at each other with their eyes shining.
Fenhua says "lets leave this topic for now " he clap his hands with force "lets follow the general and we will see on the way what we will do, besides I have a really good flute and it happens to know a song or two" the others agree and all go to their horses, discussing about the future and Fenhua playing the flute with his eyes closed.
