A few hours later after Matteron woke up from her nap she was sitting up in the bed at Bernadette’s lab reading a chapter book while Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj and Stuart decided to stick around talking to each other and keeping a close vigil on their friend. Penny and Amy showed up as well when they heard that Matteron got sick. While the others were talking with Bernadette as she was doing something at a lab table the most bizarre thing happened that none of them were expecting. Matteron’s brother Micah suddenly showed up listening to music on his phone through a set of wireless headphones. He began to get a little concerned when his sister hadn’t come home and decided to come see what the problem was.

“ Goodbye.”, Sheldon said before he hung up, slapped the phone back into Micah’s hand and grabbed his wrist scolding, “ Alright, now come here!” as he started dragging him back into the lab and sat him down in a chair. He then started rummaging through his messenger bag and pulled out a small sized first aid kit. He slipped a set of latex gloves on his hands as he opened the kit and took out a small bottle of ear drops that were designed to reduce ringing in the ears with a mixture of Lidocaine in it.

“ Ok tilt your head and hold still for a second.”, Sheldon said as he gently tilted Micah’s head to the side holding it still as he dropped a few drops into his ear canal.

“ It’s just some special ear drops that help reduce ringing in the ears. It’s got Lidocaine in it to help reduce the pain as well.”, Sheldon said as then stuffed a cotton ball into Micah’s ear before he tilted Micah’s head the other way making Micah press his finger against the cotton ball to hold it in place while Sheldon dropped a few more drops into the other ear. Once he was done and he stuffed another cotton ball in the other ear he righted Micah’s head back up, stripped the gloves off his hands and said, “ Ok let that stuff sit in your ears for a while and that should help.” before he cleaned up the mess he made.

“ Thanks.”, Leonard said. Micah and Savannah hung aroung there for a while before they decided to leave. A few days later Matteron began feeling better and she went home with the others. Then surprisingly 4 months later Mr. Drillbit comes back home which was 2 months early from his original 6 month deployment due to a dangerous situation developing in Afghanistan. Violent terrorists had started to take over the whole country to the point where the U.S. Government had decided that it wasn’t safe to keep the U.S. troops in war over there.
