I sat in Klaus's car, waiting for him to get in, as he rounded around the car quickly. He opened the door and slowly got it.
"Just for the record, if you try anything, I will put you on your ass out side of this car." I say once he shuts the door. He turns to me an smirk. And I look straight at him, taking in his green eyes. He stares back for a second before turn his head and starting the engine.
"You know I would never hurt you." he says quietly. I scoff and look at the window as he pulls out of his parking spot and starts driving.
"So what was that at the highschool the other night?" I asked sarcastically. I watch him stare straight ahead as he drove.
"Come on, love. That was merely me defending myself against you." he reasons. "If I had to be completely honest, I wasn't worried about you're witches magic. I was worried about you." he says truthfully.
"Yeah right. Bonnie's magic was ten times stronger than me." I say, rolling my eyes.
"I had gotten witch problem solved, I had no idea you would've been there. I was under the impression, you didn't want to be there. Tell me, love. What changed your mind?" he glances at me when I look down at my lap. Before saying,
"It wasn't that I wanted to be there. It's that I had no choice. My freedom for taking you down and as you can see, that plan failed." I said, before thinking, Time for plan B. When he pulled up to the apartments, he shut off the engine.
"You always had a choice. With the strength like your's, you could've easily gotten rid of your vampire pest problem." Klaus smirks at his own idea. I give him a look before shaking my head, and unbuckling myself.
"Unlike you, I'm not a sucker for killing people with no remorse." I get out of the car and shut the door. Only to turn and find Klaus right next to me, leaning on the car.
"Just like you're a sucker for pleasing others? You could've ran away from instead of getting in the car. When just yesterday, I tried to kill you." Klaus says amused. Crossing my arms, I grind the rocks from under my heeled boots. Klaus looks down at my shoes, until I stop, before looking up at me, with his head tilted down. I thought about it for a second before walking away saying,
"Shut up." I could hear him chuckling from behind me as I got further away from him. I heard him suddenly say,
"Come to the Quarry with me." stopping dead in my tracks he continues, "I want you there for the ritual. To see me transform." Turning on my heel swiftly. I speed infront of him.
"Now why the hell would I want to see a ritual that I don't want happening? When I should be getting the hell away from it, as far as I can. Instead I'm here with you, thinking you were going to apologise to me about this all." I growled at him and he says nothing.
"I've warned your little girlfriend about the inevitable so you know of the consequences that will come with breaking the curse." I look at me with disgust. "I'm out of here. I'm not going to put my life at risk for you or anyone else anymore." I say before he blinks and I'm gone.

I was already long gone out of the town, when the sun went down, but the ritual was a ways back from me, as I walked out on the side of the road. Moon was nearly peeked, when I felt it. I hadn't anticipated how big the wave was going to be. But I felt the power, as I knew the ritual was starting. There were going to be 4 waves. Klaus, the werewolf, the vampire, and last, the dopple ganger. The last will be the most powerful wave. Gripping the stone talisman, I saw it glow a little. Pulling my phone out of my back pocket, I turn it on, and dial a number. I continued to walk quickly down the highway.
"Hello?" a rough, deep voice answers the phone.
"Derek?" I gasp. I knew I had called my brother, but it had felt like forever since I've heard his voice.
"Who is this?" he asks, sounding demanding yet confused.
"Derek it's me, Aleana. We have a problem. Someone named Kla-" I was cut off by him.
"I don't know an Aleana." he says.
"I'm you're sister!" I said, I could hear him sigh in frustration.
"I don't have a sister named Aleana. Don't call me again."
"Der-" and he hung up on me. Crying out in frustration, I gripped my phone. That's when I realized, I was in another world. I hadn't noticed that I had stopped or the fact that I didn't feel the second wave, until I felt the third. Gasping, I was knocked forward from the force.
Oh no... I thought as I started running. That's when it happened. The last blast of power, shot out and toward me. It was a second, that I was blinded by a bright light. As soon as it was there, it was gone. And I was left staring at a now cracked talisman.
Whatever was in sealed inside....was now out.
