As the portal Amelia uses closes behind her, Blaine takes a deep breath and forces himself to look away from where Amelia had been. He slowly starts to walk away, his mind still filled with thoughts of Amelia. He is still confused and unsure of what to do with these emotions he is having. He soon finds himself on Earth trying to keep her mind clear, but his thoughts still linger on Amelia. He knows his feelings are forbidden, but he can't help but feel drawn to her. He finally decides that he will just have to find a way to keep his emotions in check and stay away from Amelia as much as possible. But how can he? He is her trainer after all. She and other angels will know something is wrong if he stays away.

A portal suddenly opens and he is pulled into it, everything turns dark. He finds himself in a hospital room. Two nurses standing by a bed. Viviana, the mother of his new soul charge lays on the bed. Her husband, Joel, stands on the other side of the bed holding her hand. The nurses prepare the room for the delivery of their baby. Everything so far looks to be in order. Blaine just thinks he is here so he can be a part of and witness the birth of his new soul charge.

The moment of birth comes. Viviana pushes every time the midwife tells her to. Twenty minutes of pushing to get the child out pass. Finally, Viviana gives one last push and the baby is born. Blaine stands in awe of the newborn he has been assigned to protect. All his worries about Amelia vanish in an instant.

Aurora is a beautiful baby girl with a head full of dark hair, bright blue eyes, and creamy skin. She has a small nose and pudgy cheeks that are the perfect color of pink. She opens her eyes and stares up at Blaine with a curious expression as he looks down at her with a tender smile. She is so beautiful and peaceful, and Blaine can feel the love radiating from her. He knows that he has been given the honor of watching over this precious life and he is filled with a deep sense of purpose and joy. He will make sure that nothing bad ever happens to her and that she will always be safe and happy.

Blaine leaves the room in a bright light and flies through blue skies. A portal opens, he goes through it and finds himself back in front of headquarters. He is smiling thinking about Aurora and how a great the opportunity is to be her Guardian. Though it is a great responsibility, he knows he can be there to help and protect her when she needs. He must make sure not to let anything ruin the chances of being her Guardian. She needs him and without him she would be a lost soul. A soul fending for herself without someone to guide her. Feeling always alone, even when her family is there.

Blaine suddenly notices Klein and a few other angels heading to a back room at headquarters. They seem to be looking around as to not be seen. He follows them and finds himself in a dimly lit room. He hears them talking about overthrowing the archangels. They all look determined and scared at the same time.

Blaine knows he can't let this happen. He knows it is wrong to go against the rules and he can't let these angels put themselves in danger. He walks in and speaks up, telling them it is wrong and that they should not be doing this. He tells them that this will only lead to trouble and punishment.

The other angels listen to him and although they do not agree with him, they do respect his opinion. They understand why he does not want to take part in
their plan and they thank him for his input. Seeing that they will not heed his warning and still go through with whatever plan they come up with, Blaine leaves the room feeling conflicted. He knows that he should not be feeling these emotions for Amelia and should not be breaking any rules. But he also knows that he can help his fellow angels by speaking up and voicing his opinion.

He decides to keep his distance from Amelia, to stay away from any chance of breaking the rules. He knows it will be hard, but he also knows it is the right thing to do. As he flies away, the Archangel Michael sees him from a distance leaving the area.

Michael finds it suspicious and keeps watch on the area Blaine came out of. He watches as the other angels eventually leave the area. Michael then contacts the other archangels and informs them of what he had seen and who he saw leaving the area. The archangels find this very suspicious and decide to keep it within them. They will keep a closer eye on these angels. Whatever they are up to can't be good.
