"Blaine, Guardian Angel Class 4, You are ordered to report to Headquarters immediately," Josie sent out the message to Blaine as ordered by Jonas. The Class 4 Guardian Angels are running an investigation into the events that lead to needing to pull someone for a sudden rescue for Blaine's last charge. They are trying to figure out why Blaine did not show up to the call as tasked and where he is right now. Blaine has been missing for 18 hours now.

Jonas goes over to the internal monitor room to check on the last 24 hours of footage around headquarters for any clues as to Blaine's whereabouts. As he sits in front of one of the monitors, he toggles the switches and starts reviewing the footage. He sees Blaine walk up to the bulletin board and pick up his job then walks out of headquarters. He follows the camera views that catch Blaine walking out. The camera for the outside barely shows Blaine taking flight and begin to open a portal when another angel approaches him. The face of the angel is not clear due to the distance and position in front of Blaine.

He sees Blaine put his hand in his pocket where he saw him stash the job note in an earlier footage. The angel seems to be gesturing to the east from their location. About a minute later Blaine follows the angel to the east. Jonas gets up and walks over to the table with a 3D model of the area. He looks at the headquarters building at the center and positions a marker around the area where Blaine and the other angel were talking.

Remembering the recording, he looks towards the east of that location to try to figure out where they could have gone. Towards the east he sees the library building being the closest and the most probable location they headed to. All other buildings were a mile or more away. Jonas walks back over to the monitor and looks for footage on the library building. He sees Blaine entering the library, an angel in front of him already through the door, all he can see is the angel's back, wings retracting. As they go inside the footage ends and no
other recording appears for the outside or inside up until three hours ago when the recordings seem to have restarted.

Jonas sighs and stands up from the chair. "Blaine, what have you gotten yourself into?" He asks to himself. He looks one last time at the monitor and grabs his coat. He opens the door to leave and orders the other angels to continue looking through the footage and to alert him if they find anything else. He quickly walks out of headquarters and starts to take flight. He knows time is of the essence and must find Blaine as soon as possible.

The archangel Michael stops Jonas and tells him to follow him. Jonas obeys and follows Michael back into headquarters. They head upstairs to the 4th level and into an office. Michael sits at the desk and gestures to Jonas to sit on one of the available chairs in front of the desk.

Jonas' stomach starts to feel weird, "Something out of the ordinary? As I said, he is an exceptional guardian angel. He always strives to do his best to care for his charges. He only talked about his feelings for Amelia, but he didn't seem like he wanted to do anything that could go against the rules.

Jonas nods and follows Michael out of the office. He is eager to find Blaine, but at the same time worried about what they will find. He hopes Blaine is safe and is not in any danger.
Blaine wakes up on a cold stone floor to the voice of Josie ordering him to report to headquarters. As his eyes adjust, he finds himself in a small dark, damp room. No windows, and one metal door. No furniture or anything else for that matter in the room. He reaches his hand to the back of his head. He can feel a lump there that feels sore, and the pain is stronger with the touch. "Where am I? He thinks about the message from Josie. It sounded very urgent and demanding. He starts to think about the last charge, Sarah. She was feeling scared, someone was following him in the middle of the night walking home. She needed him and he never arrived. He thinks of the worse from him not being there for her. All the possible things that might have happened to her. He never should have gone with Klein and ignored his call. He has never done anything like that before. The charges have always come first, that is his duty and he failed. He failed to perform his duties all because of his feelings for Amelia and the thoughts of Klein being able to do something that could help be able to express those feelings freely.

The sounds of keys and bolts moving on the other side of the door surprise him. He steps back from the door and moves to the other side of the room. The door opens, Klein walks in. "I'm sorry it has to be this way Blaine, but we can't take any chances," he says.

The door is still open behind Klein. Blaine can hear sounds of birds, cars, horns, even people coming from the outside. "Why are you doing this to me?" Blaine asks.
"Don't worry, it will all be over soon," Klein says turning around and walking out and Blaine hears the sounds of bolts and locks closing as the door is shut.

Michael and Jonas arrive at the library with two other warrior angels. They go inside and start looking around for any signs or evidence that can lead them to Blaine's whereabouts. Anything they can use to learn what is going on.

They check every nook and cranny in the library but all they can find are books, scrolls and chairs scattered all around. Nothing to indicate anyone being here recently.
