Blaine gets a new task from the bulletin board at headquarters, it reads "Tyler, age 10". As he looks at the note, Amelia walks up next to him and picks up a note from the board. This time he can see hers which only means both their charges are at the same location. Only when guardian angels have a charge at the same location as other guardian angels can they see each other's notes.

Amelia's note reads "Kaitlyn, age 8". Blaine looks at Amelia and notices a faint blush on her cheeks. He can't help but think that maybe, just maybe, she was just as affected by their earlier conversation as he was. He shakes his head to clear his mind and looks away. He knows that he must stay professional and focus on his job. He tells her that they both have charges at the same location and that they must work together to ensure the safety of both their charges. Amelia agrees and they both fly off to their destination.

They arrive at the location to find that the charges are both participating in a summer camp program for young children. Kaitlyn, Amelia's charge, is a bubbly and outgoing eight-year-old who loves to play sports and make new friends. Blaine's charge, a boy named Tyler, is a more reserved and serious- minded ten-year-old who is more interested in reading and science experiments. Despite their differences, the two charges seem to get along well and are having a great time at camp.

Blaine and Amelia are able to divide up their responsibilities and make sure that their charges are well taken care of, all while keeping an eye on each other and providing support as needed. of his emotions. He cannot let his feelings affect the job or bring any trouble to Amelia. Blaine's charge, Tyler, runs off. Blaine can sense something is wrong and goes to find him. After searching for a few minutes, he finds Tyler sitting in a corner, looking upset. Blaine kneels in front of him and put his hands on Tyler's head. A group of older kids in the camp teasing him and pushing him around. They are saying mean and hurtful things, making jabs at Tyler's intelligence and his interests. Tyler is trying to ignore them and stay strong, but it is getting to him. He is feeling very alone and scared. Blaine can feel the fear and loneliness radiating off of Tyler, and it breaks his heart. He can also feel Tyler's strength and courage as he is trying to keep it together and not cry.

Blaine wraps his arms around Tyler and holds him close, sending him love and light. He wants him to know that he is not alone, that he is loved and protected. Blaine can feel Tyler's body relax into his embrace and the fear and sadness start to dissipate.

Blaine lets go of Tyler and stands up. Tyler, now feeling better, gets up and walks back to the rest of the kids at camp and finds Kaitlyn. Blaine follows and stands by watching him and makes sure to continue to keep his distance from Amelia. Their charges seem to be doing good now and no longer need to be watched. Blaine can't help but feel a sense of peace and satisfaction. He was able to help his charge and keep his feelings in check at the same time.
He knows he will have to keep his distance from Amelia, but he also knows that he will always be there for her if she ever needs him. With a smile on his face, he heads back to headquarters, feeling a little bit closer to understanding the complex emotions he has been experiencing.

At headquarters, they both go make their report for their jobs at the receptionist counter. Then both check the bulletin board, no jobs for either of them posted. As Blaine has nothing to do right now, he turns to Amelia and says,

Amelia thinks for a moment and then smiles. She knows she should not be spending any extra time with Blaine, but she also can't help but feel drawn to him. She agrees to join him and they both fly off. When they arrive, they find themselves at a beautiful lake, surrounded by lush greenery and the sun setting in the horizon.

Blaine finds a nice spot near the lake and they both sit down. They talk about their charges and their experiences, laughing and enjoying each other's company. He takes a deep breath and turns around, flying back to headquarters as well. He knows that it is best to keep his feelings in check and to stay away from Amelia. He knows he must stay professional and focus on his job. There must be someone I can talk to about these feelings, he thinks. He gets up and heads back to headquarters determined to find someone that can help him. He decides to find his Mentor and Friend Jonas.

Blaine gets to headquarters hoping to run into Jonas. He walks to the receptionist and makes his report for the charge at the camp. He looks around for Amelia, she is not at headquarters anymore. Hmm... she must have gotten another job already. He then asks the receptionist about Jonas.

"Sorry, I have something to attend to right now, I'll be back in a bit, " he says excusing himself from the meeting. He gets up and heads downstairs to the receptionist to meet with Jonas.

I thought you could help me understand these feelings and help me to be able to express them without consequence. I mean, hasn't there ever been anyone else with the same situation?
