Background- It was 6th grade going into 7th. Back in 5th grade I had begun my career with Cool Cats Club, a little project about Humanoid Cats going to war? That assignment was to write a short story on an animal we liked. Needless to say that was influenced by a lot of different series and I didn’t know what I was doing.
Fighters was my attempt at a more original thing though, as I was big into Warriors and a few other things, it didn’t drift far from. Consider this a mass of fanfiction with SOME form of original content mixed in. Prolog
The wind was blowing lightly as bushes rustled; a she cat rushed through the clearing exhausted, she was huffing and puffing. Then there was a loud growling sound as the she cat was soon surrounded by five cats. They weren’t ordinary cats because they were made out of bones; she bit into one and swung the light weight bone cat into the others which made them break apart; then she let go of it and the one she was swinging bashed into a tree and fell apart. The she cat turned around and saw two cats sitting at the spot she had just passed to enter the small clearing, “Smart one isn’t she?” one of the two said. “That she is; I’ll get this one.” “What are you talking about Addereye; you got the last one so I get this one!” “Fine Deathvine, whatever; just don’t waste any time on this.” “Got it.” “Whatever, hey you over there, just make it easy on your self and let us kill you right away.” The she cat turned and ran away from the two, “I’ll take that as a no then.” Deathvine ran after the she cat and soon got in front of her; she batted the she cat over, “Let’s just say that I’m fast.” Deathvine put her claws in the she cat’s throat and killed her. Deathvine drug the she cat back to Addereye’s location, “That didn’t take to long did it?” “Let’s get back and report that we’ve both gotten our two.”
After quite a while of walking; they arrived at a dark swamp; fog floated around it as dead trees were lined in rows. Eventually four cats hopped out of the trees “We got the next two.” Then one of the four spoke, “Good work you two.” Another one of the four, which was a white she cat, and spoke to the others, “We’re almost there now. Soon everything will come together; once we kill the last four, the Ing army will be revived. “Time to get the last four.”
Chapter I
Much had changed over the last three years for all of the clans; Sunclan had scattered back into packs and tribes except for Sunheart, Ivy, Blaze, and Skullus along with one hundred others or so. The three legged Darkclan commander had retired since he wasn’t as good as he used to be when he had four legs; Boneclan however had disappeared as they did before without a trace.
Sunheart and here friends were looking up at a full moon in a clearing when they soon noticed that Sunheart looked like she was thinking, “Sunheart, what is it?” Ivy asked. “Listen if you are still thinking about the Ing then you might as well stop; they’re gone; without their army they probably just gave up,” Skullus said. Soon Blaze answered, “You do realize that this day marks the three year time period since we last saw them, she’s likely just remembering it all and I don’t blame her.” “Blaze is right; I’m just remembering all that happened.” “That day was horrible; we lost quite a lot of cats from the total of what was around.” “Well it’s over at least.” Soon a fifth cat came along, “You never know until fate decides to show it.” “Greetings Oaktail,” the four said. Oaktail is an elderly cat that the cats of the tribes and packs looked up to and respected including others; he is a nice gentle cat that only eats plants, no meat. He was treated like a grandpa by other cats, “I didn’t think you’d come tonight.” “Well my time is coming soon so I’d like to live my final weeks in a good way,” he replied. “What!? You can’t be that old yet.” “I am; I have seen something in a vision though, a great war will soon break out. One of the other four clans will be the cause of it but I don’t know which one. All five clans will have no other clan as an ally in it though.” In the last three years the clans have formed united clans, there was Sunclan yet at the top of the clans, to the top left were the clans that Sunheart was born to; they had joined to make Eclipseclan, with Longfang as the leader and Windwing as the commander. The clans of Emberstar’s formed storm clan which was below Eclipseclan with Amberpelt as leader and Featherclaw as the commander; to the right of them was Disasterclan lead by Hurtstar and the commander was Mudpelt. Above them and next to Eclipseclan was Soundclan lead by Soundoff and their commander.
