This is something that crossed my mind when I was taking a shower, it also tends to cross my mind every now and then and I feel like I should talk about it :)
I Don't know if this has something to do with every household but I think that this has been said at least once in a majority of households, what I'm trying to say here is that you've probably heard one of these sentences before.
"I brought you into this word and I can take you out" or "I do everything for you"
The first sentence is somewhat of a joke but the second always has me thinking about why certain parents say this, it seems extremely toxic to me. I don't know I could possibly be the only one who thinks that.214Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ69rRsR9Rqc
It's like your parent(s) make it seem like it's your fault that they have to take care of you....
Because I've had this said to me before and I'd always say "I didn't ask to be born." It's not like I told you to have sex and get someone pregnant just to have me, plus is that not what your typical parent(s) are supposed to do? I don't really catch the drift about where this is going... It just doesn't seem logical to me.
You made that bed and now you have to lay in it, that's really all I have to say about that. 🤷🏽♀
I'm not gonna get in depth about this topic, however there's a possibility that I'm thinking too much of it and taking things out of proportion but it just didn't add up to me so I decided to rant about it.
