"See it's midnight and generally people greet each other at this time in my family. Today is Alena's birthday. I can't be with her but at least I should wish her. That's why I asked for a phone from her. I didn't know that would be an issue." I said.

I went out and stopped as I found the man I didn't want to meet again.

I tried looking for Phoebus but could not find him and so were those two people who let us in.
Ares was trying to hide something behind him. I could faint but I needed to fight. I am strong enough. I took a deep breath and started moving forward slowly.
"We meet again Miss. Daphne Tuffin. I hope you are doing fine." Ares said with a mischievous smile.
"I am." I said firmly.
He kept smiling and I stopped almost at the distance of my height from him. I put both my hands behind me like he did.
He stepped forward. I shouted the name of the man with whom I planned to spend the rest of my life because I felt he would never let someone hurt me. I knew he wouldn't let Ares hurt me.
"You still don't get it Daphne? He is the one who brought you even after knowing what was going to happen to you here. He won't come so stop shouting." Ares said.
I kept walking back to keep a constant distance between me and him. I had no time to regret my decision. I had already regretted it before knowing all this mess. Now it's time to fight, not with me but them.

Everything turned into slow-mo. I saw Ares loosening one of his shoulders, it seemed like he was up to something. I crouched down as soon as he fast forwarded his hand out with the saw, half of my height, towards me. I ran bended towards his legs and attacked with the knife I was hiding behind me. I ran towards the exit as he fell down in pain with the long cut I made on his leg. The pain was enough to make him lose his voice. I saw those two people standing at the front door. I could not make an exit easily. I slowly walked towards the window in the kitchen. I jumped out of it and ran towards the way we came from. I needed to find a medium to talk with my family. I kept running until I crashed with Phoebus. I stopped breathing. He was standing still. I can't believe I ran with such a viper. He is no less than Ares himself. At the end of the day, both are brothers.

At that moment I forgot that I had to run until I heard people running towards us. I suddenly felt someone pull me. I was totally invisible under the grip done by Phoebus around my waist. We were hiding behind a brick wall. That was a stupid idea indeed. I looked at him with disgrace.

He went to the other side of the wall and asked those people whether they found any trace of me. He asked them to search the totally opposite way from my home.
