'Clara, come on!' Maia sighs irritated. 'Your parents said to be done with unpacking when they come back!' Maia sighs. 'I'm sorry that for once I'm not the one on time,' Clara hisses irritated and opens her suitcase. 'Is this what's going to be like with Sookie gone?' Maia asks. Clara looks up at her friend and roommate. 'I'm just tired,' she lies while plucking her fingers and unpacks her suitcase. 'Yeah, right. I've known you all my life. I know when you are lying,' Maia says and puts down her lamp a little too loud. 'Oh, I've had it with you for the day!' Clara shouts and leaves the dorm.
Once outside Clara's phone rings. It's an unknown number. 'Hello?' Clara picks up. 'I got a phone!' Sookie says happily on the other side. 'Sookie,' Clara says relieved. 'Oh you sound... relieved to hear me?' Sookie says hopeful. 'Yes, I'm gonna kill Maia one day,' Clara says irritated. 'What with people and the killing thoughts?' Sookie asks surprised. 'But I knew that you two would fight on the first day. You two have to learn how to behave when I'm not there,' Sookie says. 'It seems so,' Clara smiles.
'So how's your dorm?' Clara asks and sits on the stairs. 'Great! It's actually big and I don't have a roommate, yet. Paul's on the floor above me so I'll always have someone to go to when there's something wrong. How's yours?' 'There's space for four, but only Maia is my roommate.' 'Oh, never mind on the not killing policy,' Sookie laughs. Clara laughs too. 'I miss you,' Clara silently says. 'I miss you too,' Sookie says. Clara can hear her smile.
They talk about little stuff that they have seen on their journeys. 'I have to go back inside or my parents won't be happy seeing I haven't unpacked,' Clara says. 'Oh... Can I talk to Maia for a moment then?' Sookie aks. 'Sure,' Clara says as she walks back inside her dorm. 'Maia, Sookie,' Clara says and gives Maia the phone. 'Hello?' Maia asks. 'I have a phone now!' Sookie says. 'Oh, great!' Maia smiles. 'Don't kill each other. I want to see you both alive on Christmas,' Sookie says. 'I wont kill her,' Maia laughs. 'Good,' Sookie says. She wonders if she should tell them about her brother, but she decides not to. They say their goodbyes and hang up.
