Gulf knew Mew already made up his mind on him. He really is now being treated as a brother. Not more than that. Probably, Navy was right. He should just ignore all this feeling and continue as a brother to Mew.
At least, Mew and he can still be together. This is the least he could do to be near to Mew. He clearly knows that Mew will not entertain his feeling.
"Gulf, do you want to help me practice the song or not?"
Mew's question wakes him up from his thought.
"Okay, Phi. Let me get the lyric first."
Then, they start to practice the song for a fan meeting next week. Gulf sings the song for Mew to practice playing the drum. The original singer was supposed to be Haownah but he couldn't make it to practice this morning.
Gulf is tone deaf. He sings without staying on beat. Sometimes, Mew will laugh hysterically when Gulf twisted his tongue or forget the beat.
"P'Mew, why are you laughing so hard. It's good enough that I help you to practice." Gulf gets a bit upset but still smiling while saying that.
"Why you don't stay on the same beat. It's hard for me to practice properly."
Gulf gives him a snap stare before looking at the paper.
"Okay, I will sing on beat now."
When he's about to sing, he cleared his throat. His phlegm stops him from singing. Mew starts to laugh again because Gulf voice cracked at the moment too.
"Phi, please don't laugh."
Gulf is pouting.
"Okay, okay. Why don't we take a break first." Mew suggests it too him considering they has been practicing for about half an hour now.
Gulf ogles his eyes before walking to the toilet. Mew looks at Gulf while smiling widely. Suddenly, his smile disappearing. He immersed into his thought.
What Gulf done and said before, exactly like what his ex-boyfriend said to him before their breakup. this person is the boyfriend before Phat, the one that Gulf saw him with.

"What are you talking about, Saint? What is that supposed to mean?" Mew asks Saint in very surprised voice.
Saint who sits in front of him in the restaurant calmly put down his drink.
"There's nothing vague about what I just said. I want to break up with you. I don't love you."
Mew tries to hold his tears as much as he could.
"Why so sudden? What have I done to you?"
"I don't think I can fool myself anymore. I don't love you. I thought that I love you, and now I realize that I never really love you. I am attracted to you for a moment only."
"Do you think what you're saying now is making any sense? We've been together for more than a year." Mew tried to hold Saint's hand but got pushed away.
"I know. And for more than a year I've been fooling myself. I never love you. I love girls and for all my life I've never love men. Maybe, I was only confused for a moment but now, I'm very sure that I don't love you. Hence, I can't love you because I'm a man."
Mew is speechless.
"I can't believe that I can let my confuse feeling hurt the girl I've been dating for you. Clearly, I'm not in my right mind at that time." Saint smirked.
"I really love you, Saint. I don't believe what you just said."
"Believe it or not, it's not my problem. I've been fooling myself for so long and I don't want to continue it anymore. I hate you for making me confuse about my sexuality. People like you, really like to turn straight guy into gay. Isn't that your fantasy?"
All of Saint's words hurt Me deeply. Now, tears are running down his cheek like a waterfall. He can't control it anymore.
"See, you even cry like a girl. How can you call yourself a man if you're behaving like this. You don't even like girls, how can you be a man, right?" Saint adds his hurt remarks.

The sound of door open wakes Mew up from his flashback. Gulf is walking towards him while looking at the phone.
Mew really don't want to get hurt again. He doesn't have the heart to experience it all over again. He should stop whatever feeling he or Gulf had because of the heartbreak that really made him wounded until now.
"Phi.." Gulf calls him while standing and looking at the phone.
Mew lifts his face up and look at Gulf.
"I think something happen to Navy." Gulf said in a worried sound.
"What?"
Mew stands up from his seat and walks towards Gulf. He read the text sent by John to Gulf.
"Should we go and visit him? John said they are their way to home now." Gulf gives his suggestion.
Mew nods and grab his sweater. They go together in a car.

"Luckily, there's nothing serious happen to you." Gulf said to Navy who is laying on the bed with bruises all over his face.
"Doctor said only bruises. It will heal in no time." John said it while applying ointment on the bruises.
Gulf sits next to Navy bed while Mew is standing next to Gulf.
"What about the attacker?" Gulf asks while helping John to apply the medicine on Navy's hand.
"He's still unconscious. The police will report to us once he's awake." John answers the question.
"Do you know why he attacked you?" Mew asks the question to Navy.
Navy also didn't get the clear idea why he was attacked. What the man said and done, is very confusing. He has no idea why the man did that.
"I don't know, Phi. I don't know why he did that."
Mew sighs a bit. The world is dangerous nowadays because of this kind of people.
"Let me put the medicine around your shoulder too." John said then stripping down the Navy's shirt a bit around the left shoulder.
"Oh, Navy, you got a birthmark around that area." Gulf sound a bit surprised.
"Yeah, it was there since I was born. Why?"
"I got the same birthmark too. But, on my right shoulder."
"Really?" Navy seems surprised.
Gulf nodded and then showed them the birthmark on his right shoulder. It looks like Navy birthmark but in a converse order.
"Wow, it's fascinating." Mew said while touching the birthmark on Gulf's shoulder.
Gulf quickly close his birthmark.
"What a coincidence right?" Gulf sound excited.
Navy smiles at Gulf.
"There are more than billion people in the world. I'm pretty sure there are also people that have the same birthmark as you guys." John adds his comment.
"Do you think that you guys are soulmate or what?" Mew tries to tease Gulf and Navy.
Gulf pouts and look at Mew with done-eyes.
John seems a bit taken aback by Mew's comment.
"We are soulmate." John suddenly hug Navy's head while looking at Gulf and Mew with a wide smile.
Navy seems a bit irritated. He pushes John away.
Gulf and Mew laugh a bit when John seems embarrassed.
Suddenly, John's phone is ringing.
"Hello, John's speaking."
While John talking on the phone, Gulf continue to put medicine on Navy hand.
"Okay, thank you sir."
John seems serious. All eyes are on him now.
"Why John? What's wrong?" Mew asked.
John sighs loudly and look at Navy's face.
"The police just called me. The assaulter is missing from the hospital."
All of them surprised and ask 'what' about the same time.
"They said, the guy suddenly vanished from his bed. The doctor also said the guy didn't suppose to be able to wake up and walk because he lost a lot of blood. They are out there searching for him now and warned us to be extra careful."
Navy looks very worried. John hug his shoulder to calm him down. Gulf and Mew look at each other with a concern face.
"Is there anything that we can help?" Mew asks John.
"Maybe I should stay here with you guys for a moment. Just in case you have something to do for your work, John." Gulf gives his suggestion.
"Maybe we can take turn or when you need us, you can call us to come and take care of Navy." Mew also gives his idea.
"Thanks guys, but." John tries to say something but was cut off by Navy.
"Maybe we should try that. I know you have a lot of work to do. We can use their help really much at this time. Before this, I thought I could fight anyone alone, but now I'm worried that I'm not strong enough to fight him."
John stare at Navy then sigh a bit.
"Okay, if that what you want. But I really don't want to trouble you guys." John said to both Gulf and Mew.
"No trouble. I want to do this and help you guys with whatever I can. As long as the guy still out there, then Navy will never be safe." Gulf adds his comment.
"Me too. This is the least that we can do for you." Mew supports Gulf.
"Thank you, Gulf, P'Mew." Navy said it with smile.
From a far, down to the park, the guy is looking directly at Navy's apartment with his head still on bandage. He smiles and watching the apartment with fierce eyes.
"I've found you."
He said then laughing hysterically.
