Act 5

Scene: Afternoon, Railroad Office, 5:00 pm Friday, November 10th

(A man knocks on Sebastian's office door and Sebastian replies come in. A well-dressed man enters the office.)

Sebastian:

What can I do for sir?

Man: (The man removes his derby hat and fake mustache)

Let me introduce myself, I'm Reginald Blackwater

Sebastian :

Oh, Mr. Blackwater what can I do for you?

Blackwater:(Speaking with a Southern accent)

Well, you may know me from my wanted poster.

Sebastian:( stares intently and realizes )

Yes, now that you mention it, I do recognize you.

Blackwater:

Yes!

Sebastian:

What brings you to my office?

Blackwater:(Speaking with a Southern accent)

Well, I have a lot of recently obtained items as you might say. (winking)

Sebastian:

Oh, I understand, may I ask what you need from me?

Blackwater:

I need those items sent to New Orleans for my associate to sell for me, you see.

Sebastian :

Yes, I think we can come to some kind of an arrangement.

Blackwater:

Yes, how much will be to get those items out of Fairhaven?

Sebastian :

Well, how many crates are you going to need and how large?

Blackwater:

Well, I need two crates, four feet wide by six feet long.

Sebastian :

Well, I figure from what you have told me, It's going to cost you about 350 dollars.

Blackwater:

(gasps) That's robbery!

Sebastian : (smirking)

Well, then you understand.

Blackwater :

Can't we make some kind of arrangement?

Sebastian : (speaking sternly)

Sure, plus the $350, you can get me a couple of bottles of Château Lafite Rothschild.

Blackwater:( angered)

You're mad! I won't pay for that!

Sebastian:

Well, that's too bad Mr. Blackwater, You going to have a difficult task ahead of you getting your “loot” out of Fairhaven. Remember, I don't ask questions about your illicit cargo, like some other might. You could try the Fairhaven Steamboat Company, it's also run by notorious do-gooder Elijah Thaddeus Worthington, Do you think he might want to know what you wanted to ship out of Fairhaven?

Blackwater: (hesitates)

Oh, alright, you have payment in a few days, till then I'm going to have to message my contacts about finding the bottles of wine you requested.

Sebastian: Very well, Mr. Blackwater, we have a deal, See you in a few days, You know where I'll be when you are ready.

Blackwater:

Yes, good day to you sir. (Blackwater puts on his disguise opens the office door and disappears into the evening. )
