i’m a billies girl,

but that comes with negativity,

it’s my responsibility,

for when i tell people,

‘i love billie eilish’,

i know they’ll they laugh,

and they’ll cut my spirit in half,

what’s so bad about me liking a singer?

the words they say will always linger,

but that’s the thing,

she’s not just a singer to me,

she’s my bestfriend,

she helps my heart to mend,

the only person who can calm me when my happiness comes to an end,

who can wipe away my tears and replace it with smiles,

and gives me confidence that lasts for miles,

but why do people make that so negative?

‘she’s so weird’ they say

‘she can’t sing’

‘who would like her?’

the list goes on,

that’s what makes me hate being a billies girl,

but i know no matter what billie will always be there with open arms,

her ocean eyes shining like stars,

she’ll be my forever friend,

i’m a billies girl.
