When the scene fades back in, we see not much as changed since we last left it, with Amon and his Equalists getting away and Y/n on his knees. We can see has Y/n starts gritting his teeth as Amon is on his ship and getting ready to leave. This causes Y/n to try and stand up, but then he fell to his knees again.

Y/n: "shit, im to tired. Oh, well. I do need to take it easy. Besides-" he then looks up at the blimps, "not sure how im going to take those things down, anyways. Well, not with something that will expose me that it........ but-" with his eyes, he looks past the blimps and sees some clouds beginning to form, "i know a substitute that will look like a natural disaster. An act of the spirits if you will........ good. Looks like there's some good cloud coverage. It'll cause minimal damage to the city since it won't be at full power." he then looks around and sees that almost all of the civilians are now gone, leaving only a few stragglers left, "good, now i can focus the blast towards the arena." his right hand begins to emit some electricity, "alright, im low on chakra and my body is pushed to its limits. Luckily this jutsu doesn't require much chakra or movement to preform. i know the signs thanks to the fact i was with Team 7 when they went on their mission to discover the Akatsuki spy." he then starts to weave some signs, causing more electricity to form around his right hand.
Y/n: he then lands on the final sign, "alright, here it goes. Goodbye, Amon and your so-called Equalists." he then slowly raises his hand up, "i promised i'd would go down this route if i had to and you forced my hand. Now Kir-/ KORRA!!!"

When the boy looked up, he could see that Korra has been propelled up towards the blimps thanks to Lin. In a panic, Y/n tries to stand up but when he does, he instantly falls to his hands and knees.

The boys eyes then widen as he has a flashback to not that long ago. The trap that was set for him, having to save Asami, then having to save and protect the civilians. Then he notices Amons usually calm demeanor despite just how out classed he is against the boy. Y/n then quickly looks at and looks at Amon to see him looking down at the boy. In a dramatic zoom in, we can see that Amons lower eyelids are slightly arched, giving the impression that he's letting out a small smile.

The boy then tries to move again but, again, his body just won't let him get up at all. He was about to try again but this time, he heard a scream from above. When he quickly looked up, he can see an unconscious Korra getting thrown off of the blimp. In slow motion he saw her fall from the sky.

As soon as he yelled that at the top of his lungs, blue whips of chakra surrounded him until it turns into a pillar of pressurized air that shoots into the air. Then his skin begins to turn red, his veins began to bugle, his muscles get slightly bigger and his pupils disappeared. When he looked up he saw Korra still falling, then he saw Lin tried to help her but was getting blocked by the Lieutenant. In slow motion, he looked around and saw that some equalists were still around about to strike some police officers, or they are trying to get away. In that instant, he crouched down and disappeared. His movement was so fast and powerful, that it caused nearly half of the stage to explode off and break apart, the piece just barely missing Mako and Bolin, who were still down below.

Back at the stands, right before one of the officers was critically hit by an equalist, his attackers face was suddenly planted into the concrete floor with such speed and force that it happened near instant, even faster than he could blink. When he looked, he saw the equalist was face planted into the floor. When he looked around at his fellow officers, he saw multiple instances of the same thing but in different positions. When we look at Tenzin, we can see him dealing with an equalist until another came from behind. However, Tenzin didn't see this until he heard a crashing like noise from behind him.

When he looked behind him, we saw an equalist face planted into a human shaped hole in the wall, as rubble still falls from him. In shock, he looked around to see who caused it but all around him, he heard similar hard impact like noises, as if mini explosions were going off. He saw multiple equalists getting face planted instantly by some invisible force. Then he heard a loud crashing noise behind him again but this time it was a section of the seats getting destroyed by something but nothing was there. Back at Y/n, we can see as he just leapt from behind Tenzin and reaches Korra in mere milliseconds, holding her bridal style. He then looked down at her with a solemn look on his face, but then intense pain coursed throughout his body, forcing him out of the eight gates state. He was just barely able to remain conscious, with one eye open.

Korra: her eye then started to flutter open, she then looks up and notices the boy, "Y...... Y/n?" her eyes then fully open, "wha....... what happened?"
Y/n: pushing through the pain he looks at her with a smile, "finally awake, huh, sleepy head?"
Korra: "oh will you shu........ wait." she then slowly looks down and notices how he's holding her, this causes her whole face to turn red, "uh, Y/n? Why are you holding me like this?"
Y/n: "oh, i needed a way to save you but also a way to take on the brunt of the-" suddenly his whole body began to feel unimaginable pain, as if its very muscles were trying to escape from his body, but can't get through the skin, blood begins to leak from his eyes, and his ears "ARGHHHHHH!!!!"
Korra: she then gets off of him and looks at him with panic written all over her face, "Y/N!!"

Now nothing was left but emptiness and darkness, the low sounds of medal clanging can just barely be heard. Then the sounds of something being cut, screams of pain, explosions, flesh being ripped and cut is all that fills the air. Then the loud sounds of a haunting roar replaces it all.

Y/n then quickly shoots his eyes open and gets up just as fast. With his breath labored, he looks around in a panic. When he sees that he's in his room, he begins to calm down. When he looks down, he can see Korra resting her head on his arms, which was resting on the edge of the bed. He can tell by her slow and calm breathing that she was fast asleep. He looks at her with a soft smile on his face. He then takes notices of the bandages on his arms and judging from the feeling on his head and chest, he had some on there too. He can still feel some residual pain but not as much as he would've thought. He looks back at Korra and smiles at her cute sleeping face. Suddenly the urge to pet her head overcomes him. Unable to resist its call, he slowly reaches out and softly pets her head. This sudden contact wakes her up as she begins to fidget, and her eyes flutter open but then close again.

Korra: "only for a few days."
Y/n: "a few days, huh? Damn, sorry abo-" suddenly Korra hugs him again and buries her head into his shoulder, "K-Korra?" he then could feel her trembling on him, "Korra?"
Korra: "don't you ever do that again. You had me so worried about you. When blood started to come out of your ears and eyes, then you vomited all that blood and fell to the floor. You......... you wouldn't wake up. I thought....... I thought." she then began to sob a little on his chest.
Y/n: he then wraps one of his arms around her waist and the other rests on the back of her head, "sorry about the Korra. Looks like i caused you trouble again."
Korra: she then looks up at him with tears in her eyes, "damn right you did! Do you have any idea of how worried i was about you?! How scared i was?!" she then buried her head into his chest again and begins to hit his shoulders, "stupid, stupid, stupid!" she then stops hitting him and grips his shirt around his shoulders, "I've never seen you that hurt before. You always felt so unstoppable. No matter what anyone threw your way, you always got out of it with barely a scratch. Seeing you like that-" her grip tightens even more, "it scared me. i thought...... i was going to lose you."
Y/n: "hey, hey." he then lifts up her chin using his fingers, "I'm not going anywhere. I can promise you that."

Y/n: "we're ninja. We need to survive dangerous and often grueling situations. So we do what we can./ that and the whole child soldier thing./ course not a lot of people know about it anymore, even fewer can use it. It requires intense focus, strict training and determination. Y/n: "It's also known as a Nindo. It's like a personal rule that we all live by, think of it like a motto, belief or a dream we hold. It's a vow to keep that alive. It's basically a motivation to keep going and stay alive. To push past the pain. Cause that's what it means to be a ninja. Those who endure the pain and continue moving forward."
Tenzin: "i see. i guess it makes sense for ninja to hold onto a vow of some kind. With how much they put their lives on the line."
Y/n: "y-yeah./ good. i managed to steer the conversation away from the arena. Cant let them ask too many questions or connect to many dots. It's a good thing i paid attention to Asami when she was explaining how her vehicles work and how steam power is used. Even if its by a little, my world could really benefit from this worlds tech./ on, that reminds me. How's Asami doing? I'm sure the whole ordeal effected her."

We now see an absolutely large mansion like building that looks more like a castle than a house.
As the camera pans into the building, we can see a large poll room with a nearly equally large pool in it. We then see as Asami, Mako, and Bolin either swimming or sitting by the pool. We then see a Pabu jumps off of the large statue into the pool below it. Bolin then stands on top of the same statue. As the camera pans over, we can see as Asami is sitting on the side of the pool while Mako stands in the pool right next to her.

We now see as 2 Satomobiles are sitting beside each other. We can see as Korra puts on some goggles as she sits behind Asami. The camera then pans over to the side, we can see a man sitting in the other car. We then see as a man wearing a blue jumpsuit walking in front of them. He then stops just about in between them and raises up a white flag into the air. Right when he quickly lowered his arm, the pair of racers slam on their gas peddles. This causes their tires to screech on the pavement before shooting forward. As they race a crossed the pavement, we can see as Asami begins to fall behind, but she then smiles as she begins to catch up. As the camera pans over, we can see as Mako and Bolin are cheering from the sidelines. We can also see as Y/n looks on with excitement in his eyes, almost as if he wants to give it a try. Back at the race, we can see as Asami has overtaken the other racer, with their back wheels touching each other. This causes his car to sway a little, but he quickly regains control over his car. However, this small moment was enough for Asami to take the lead and win the race. Once she stops the car, both girls get out of their vehicle. With Asami taking off her helmet and shaking her head to allow her hair to sway in the wind.

Mako then hugs her, which she leans into, "not knowing what could happen next or if i would make it out. I haven't felt that way since my mother passed away, but then you saved me and i knew everything was going to be okay. Even when Amon had you seemingly out matched, even using me as a trap for you. You came out on top like it was nothing more than a typical Tuesday to you then........ you did that strange technique and got seriously hurt to save Korra. It was......" then a single tear ran down the side of her cheek, "scary, seeing you like that but-" she then looks up at him with a smile, "it also made me realize your just like the rest of us. Extraordinary sure but still just like everyone else. It kinda makes me feel closer to you, for some reason."

Officer: "we just have some follow-up questions for him. It's about the attack on the bending arena. Its just formalities you see."
Asami: she then walks up to the butler and crosses her arms, "really? You do realize he was out cold right? That he saved everyone but know you want to question him?"
Officer: "i know how it looks, but this is nothing more than a formality. He'll be released shortly."

Y/n: he then puts his hand on her shoulder, "It's alright Asami. He's just doing his job. Besides, it's just a few questions. i think i can handle that."

Back with Y/n, we can see as he is being led by the officer to their police type Satomobile. He then looks behind him and towards the Sato Mansion. He then side eyes the officer walking beside him and sees he's not looking at him. So he then reaches into his ninja tool pouch and takes out a shuriken. With the officer still not looking, Y/n then throws the toll high into the air. When they reached the police vehicle, the officer opens the door for him and closes it when the boy enters it. The officer then walks to the other side and gets into the driver's seat. Right when the vehicle drives off, the shuriken lands in the yard some distance away. Then it explodes into a puff of smoke. When the smoke clears, it reveals to be a shadow clone of Y/n, who was crouched down in a hero landing like position. He then quickly looks around and sees no one is looking, so he quickly ninja dashes into some bushes. He then maneuvers around until he reaches close to the front door. Then he notices Korra, Tenzin, and Lin standing at the front door.

In a panic he runs to the wall and hides behind a pillar like structure on the wall that hides his figure.

When he peaks over, he sees as the trio is being led inside. Then another puff of some surround him and when it clears, its reveal he is now a rat. With Korra being the last one, she suddenly stops and right when the smoke fully cleared, she looks in his direction with a raised eyebrow. She then shrugs her shoulder before continue to walk inside of the mansion. When the camera pans over, we can see the clone of Y/n basically hugging the wall again. When he looks, he sees that she is now gone. This causes him to breathe a sigh of relief, but then he notices the door is being closed. He then rushes to the door and managed to get past them without anyone seeing him. Once inside, he then climbs up a pillar and stops at the little ledge that's at the top. He then peaks over from behind the pillar and looks down at the others.

Mako: he then stops Korra from walking past him as the other 2 continue to walk on, "what's going on here? Why are they asking Hiroshi more questions? And why are you here, shouldn't you be with Y/n? Asami: "you know...... don't you?"
Korra: "I don't know what you mean."
Asami: gets close to her while looking annoyed, "then why aren't you with him? I thought you cared about him." she then looks into Korras eyes and saw how almost dead they looked, "Korra?"
Korra: she then steels her resolve, "he's not important right now." this shocks the others greatly, they couldn't believe what they are hearing right now, luckily the clone didn't hear this as he was too far away, "what is important is that i overheard Mr Sato on the phone yesterday. Asami, i don't know how to tell you this but..... i think your father might be involved with the equalists."
Asami: "what?! You can be serious!" she then walks upstairs in anger.
Mako: "you spy on Hiroshi? And now you say Y/n being questioned by the police in his condition isn't important? What's your problem!" he then follows being Asami in anger as well.

We then see into a different part of Republic city as the sun gets ready to go down the horizon. As the camera pans around, we can see as Y/n is walking around with his hands in his pockets. As he continues to walk, he couldn't help but think about something.

Y/n: "yeah I knew something was up. His line of questions was just odd. It felt like he was stalling for time. i'll give him credit tho. Not once did he flinch or give any sign that something was up. For all intents and purposes, he was just a man doing his job. My shadow clone is still following Korra around, so i don't know what information he has gathered until he disappears." he then hears the sound of electricity going on somewhere, then followed by some screaming, "huh?"

The boy then looks around until he can see a darkened alleyway. Right before he looked away from it, sparks of electricity can be seen from it, then the sound of someone screaming again. He then rushes towards it and when he reaches it, he can see a clocked figure holding a man by his neck as his body just hangs their limp. When Y/n gets a closer look at the man, he can see that his body is steaming as he remains unmoving. The boy the gets a better look at the figure and sees it's the same girl as before, but he saw her face was more serious than normal and even some blood running down her cheeks.

A/n: welp, that's it for this chapter, did you like it? And yeah, i know, yet another cliffhanger but there was more i wanted to add, plus more going on with Korras side of things. So i had no choice but to end it here as it has already reached 7k in words....... and i haven't even done my quality check yet. It has now reached 10k words, so yeah, i had to stop. Now just before anyone complains, if anyone does. When it comes to your speed in gate 3. remember Lee was going so fast that they could barely see him, and he even seemingly was jumping off the air. These are normal people...... ish, they have no chakra nor means to see anything moving that fast. Also for why you saved the police before Korra....... that was my way of flexing his strength and speed. Plot wise it makes no sense, but it was purely to flex. i guess you could use the excuse you did it so Korra doesn't get hurt while your kicking ass or to better hide the fact it was you who did all that. Yes, they don't know it was you. All they know you saved Korra. Also, i know it may seem odd that i had you use 3rd gate when it was stated your chakra was low. As far is im aware, chakra levels don't affect your ability to use the eight gates. Just your bodies strength and endurance. If it doesn't then oops but its to late now. The reason you could use the 3rd gate was out of desperation to save Korra and to hide what you truly are. How you discovered the eight gates will be discussed later. Also, I know people might not like what im doing with Korra now, her trying to protect you by pushing you away, but personally it makes sense to me. Given what just happened. I'm doing my best to make these characters feel like people with emotions and understandable motives. I know i don't always do a good job of that, but I am trying. Anyways, that's all i can think of.
