A/n: Alright everyone because of a suggestion of a fellow writer I'm doing something new. I will be posting the bio, info, harem list (if any), any other bits of information and the first chapter of various stories I'm working on. I have no schedule, so until I do, updates will be sporadic. For some it could be a week, for others a couple of weeks, but also sometimes a few a week. I would also like to add some stories might receive more updates than others, depending on my mood, if I'm getting into it, or ideas for that series. So these first few bits of information and chapters are to give you a taste of what's to come. This message will be only on the first chapter of each new story. The Fourth Ninja War
We see a scarred battlefield. On it was the Shinobi alliance, an alliance made up of difference ninja villages in the hopes of stopping Madara, who they now know is Obito. Their opponent is the deformed Ten-Tails, towering over the ninja alliance like an ever opposing threat. On its head was Obito and Madara, controlling the wild beast.

Obito: "don't you see? This is all pointless. People die, friends, family, lovers. They all die. Why would you want to live in such a cruel world? Can't you see that, Naruto? As your friends die such pointless deaths, dying in vain, those left behind suffer from this pain. Why suffer all of this when all of this can end, all the suffering, all the pain, all the deaths. Take my hand Naruto-" he reaches out his hand, "and I promise you, you'll see them all again, even your master and parents. Just stop fighting and join us."

On a different part of the battlefield, a young boy was trying to help his fellow Shinobi, who he has befriended during the war. Each of them got hit pretty hard by the onslaught of the Ten-Tails. As he was helping the last one, the boy heard Obito yell something, but couldn't quite make out what it was. However, to his horror, from of the creature's tail hands, multiple wooden spikes shot out at amazing speeds. So fast that few had time to dodge.
Behind the boy, he heard the screams of pain and agony and when he looked, the very friends he just tried to help were getting slaughtered like wild animals. He was utterly horrified. Not only his new friends, but the many others around him got slaughtered by this attack. He froze, he couldn't move. He was just too scared, too frightened, but then he saw a few spikes heading towards a Kunoichi he helped earlier. On pure impulse, the boy ran towards her and pushed her out of the way and to her horror, he took the hit.

Kunoichi: "Y/N, NOOO!" She ran up to the boy and held him in her arms, "stay with me, stay with me. MEDIC! I NEED A MEDIC!!" She panics as she doesn't see anyone close by, alive, anyways.
Y/n: "a-are you-" He begins to cough up blood, making her panic even more, "are you alright?"
Kunoichi: she begins to tear up, "y-yes, I'm alright. Thanks to you. Now stop talking, someone's coming."
Y/n: "that's......good......at least I was able to......... do 1 thing right."
Kunoichi: "I said, stop talking. You need to save your strength."

As the female ninja help the dying boy in her arms, a blonde hair girl approached them in a hurry.

Ino: "Y/n! Hold on." She gets on her knees and placed her hands over his wounds. Soon a green colored aura formed around her hands, "stay with us. You'll be fine. I'll heal you right up." She began to tear up, "everything will be alright."

Y/n: "hehe, it's alright, Ino." Behind Ino, Shikamaru and Choji showed up, "we both know...... this is....... the end for me."
Ino: "idiot!" her tears start to flow more, "don't talk like that. You'll......be fine. I refuse to lose any more friends."
Y/n: "it's funny.... out of all of us, I achieved the least, I'm so pathetic."
Shikamaru: "your wrong. You may not have the most achievements, but what you do have says plenty. You're always the first to jump in whenever someone needs help. You could've done more if you only applied yourself better. You could've easily become a great ninja."
Y/n: "hehe, you don't need-" he begins to cough up more blood, causing the others to worry, "to butter me up just because..... I'm dying. We both know I'm a loser. I don't come from any clan or have anything special about me. I just have normal parents and normal capabilities........ the only useful thing I've done was..." he then looks at the Kunoichi he just saved, "was saving you. At least I can say that."
Ino: "stop, just stop, you'll......... you'll.........." she couldn't stop the tears anymore, neither could Choji.
Y/n: he begins to smile, "hey do me a favor, 2, actually. Can you tell my parents I'm sorry for dying on them, please be there for them? I know they'll be a wreck. And another thing..." he then weakly looks at Naruto who is looking back at him wide-eyed, as with tears begin to form, "watch over that idiot for me. Keep him from falling down the same path as Obito." They all nod, not able to hold back the tears anymore.
Ino: "w-we promise. You...... you have nothing to worry about."
Shikamaru: "we'll......we'll keep Naruto on the...... straight and narrow. And I'll personally watch over....... your parents."
Y/n: gives a genuine smile, "thank........you......"

With his final words, the boy could feel its time. His body felt so weak, he no longer had the strength to keep his eyes open. As his vision begins to blur and fade, all he could hear now was them calling out his name. Until everything went silent. Nothing but a pitch black void of nothingness.

Then the boy felt something soft on his back. The smell of flowers and ocean water filled his nose. Next came his hearing, all he could hear was people talking in the distance, some strange almost alert like noises, strange almost motor like noises and the sound of ocean waves hitting the side of a wall.
Suddenly, the boy jolted up, as if he was shocked by something. He began grabbing his chest as he struggles to take in air. Until finally he could breathe, but the momentary lack of oxygen caused him to struggle breathing correctly. He was unable to pace himself until he finally got a better hold on his breathing.

Y/n: he then begins to look around, "what........what happened? I'm sure I died, I felt it. Wait, my wounds?!"

The boy then looked at his chest and saw that his Leaf Shinobi vest was still intact. He then unzips it and lifts up his shirt and chain mail to reveal not a single scratch on his body. There wasn't even blood stains, nothing? Like he wasn't impaled at all?

Y/n: "what's going on? I know I died. I felt it." He then begins to look around some more, "I don't recognize this place. It looks like I'm in some kind of park? But..... how? I should be on the front lines, the .........the battlefield!"

The boy then saw flashbacks of the war and the countless Shinobi, killed in battle. Then his new friends crossed his mind and their lifeless corpses that littered the battlefield like trash on a citys street. He covered his mouth as he feels he's on the verge of throwing up. However, he was unable to hold it in anymore. He quickly leaned over next to the tree he was leaning against and threw up.

Y/n: he wipes his mouth, trying to slow his breathing, "the war....... everyone? What happened?" He then takes in more of his surroundings, now that his vision has cleared up. However, he saw something he's never seen before. "What......what the hell?"

As the camera pans over to look at what he's looking at. It reveals an iron village, but nothing like he's seen before. Then there were these, floating things and weird medal carriages.
Y/n: "what.... the fuck is that?! It looks like a village made of iron, but it's so weird. And what's with those horseless carriages and those weird oval balloon looking things?"

He begins walking around and immediately took notice of the people and their odd outfits. As he stares at him, they give him weird looks.

Y/n: "these people are wearing such strange outfits. I don't see any village symbol or headbands." He then walks into the iron village, "alright, first things first. I need to figure out where I am and where's the Leaf Village. Plus, I need to find out what happened to the war and how I'm alive."

He then noticed a food vendor and decided to walk up to him, to gather more information.

Food Vendor: he notices the boy and gives him a smile, "what can I do for yah, young man? Huh, that's an interesting get-up you have there."
Y/n: he raises an eyebrow, "really? It's pretty standard in my village."
Food Vendor: leans on her bar, "village? I take it you're not from here, are you?"
Y/n: "no, I'm not, but I do have a question."
Food vendor: "I'm sorry, kid, but I'm trying running a business here, so you'll have to buy something."
Y/n: "oh right, do you Accept Ryo?" he begins to reach into his pocket.
Food Vendor: he rubs the back of his head, "Ryo, what's that? We use Yuan."
Y/n: he stops what he's doing and looks him dead in the eyes, "what, really? But everyone uses Ryo, wait what's Yuan?"
Food Vendor: "wow, you must be from far away because Yuan is the standard in all the nations."
Y/n: raises an eyebrow, "nations? Well, can you at least tell me what village I'm in and where's the Leaf Village."
Food Vendor: "again with the village thing. Look, I don't know what you're talking about, kid, and I've never heard of a Leaf Village. As to where you are, you're in Republic City. Now, if you're not going to buy, please leave."
Y/n: "sorry for wasting your time." he then bow and leaves.
Food Vendor: "geez what a weird kid."

We see as he continues to walk around, more confused than ever.

Y/n: "Republic City? What's a city? And how has he never heard of the Leaf Village?" he then lets out a sigh, "I'm so confused. I'm in some strange place called Republic City, in an unknown country, and I have no idea what direction the Land of Fire is."

He continues to wander around, confused and hungry, but then he hears some noises. When he looks, he sees....... very obvious looking thugs playing gangster and a scared old man. It doesn't take much to put 2 and 2 together. So he begins to walk in that direction. Not know that this one decision will set off a chain of events that would change his world, forever.
Top Hat Thug: "now pay up old man, otherwise well have to do something, unlawful." he and his thug buddies creepily smile and chuckle.
Old man: he begins shaking, "p-please, business has been slow, I don't have much."
Top Hat Thug: "hehehe, not our problem," leans in towards the old man, "you either pay up or-"
Y/n: "excuse me. What's going on here?"
Top Hat Thug: while still leaning towards, turns to look at who just said something, "hah. Who..... a kid. Scram kid, otherwise you'll get hurt." he did a shooing motion.
Y/n: he then crosses his arms, "but aren't you the ones being aggressive?"
Top Hat Thug: waves his hand in a dismissive manner, "no no, this is just aaaaa business transaction." points into the air with said hand.
Y/n: raises an eyebrow, "business transaction?"
Top Hat Thug: again does a shooing motion, "yea, yea, now run along kid."

Unbeknownst to any of them, a strange tanned skinned girl and a large white dog like creature appeared in the background.

???: "what's going on? Wait, is that a mugging? Naga lets go!" the creature barks as it begins to run in that direction.
Y/n: he lets out an exhausted sigh, "yea, I'm not falling for that."

The man then swung at the boy, with fire shooting out of his fist. Despite being shocked by this, he still easily dodged the attack by backflipping.

Y/n: while still crouched, he looks at the thug with a top hat, "the fuck?/he shot fire from his fist./what kind of Jutsu is that? Never seen fire style like that before." he straightens up as he said this.
Top Hat Thug: "huh, Jutsu? Haha, what drugs are you on kid. This is fire bending." he readies to attack again.
Y/n: "fire bending?" he then looks around to see a decent crowd of people gathering around them, but then he notices a normal-sized barrel of water, "there's too many people here, they could get hurt in the crossfire. That barrel just might be big enough for that jutsu. Alright. It will be draining as fuck but-" he then puts his hands together and began weaving hand sighs has he said each word, "Ushi, Saru, U, Ne, I, Tori, Ushi, Uma, Tori, Ne, Tora, Inu, Tora, Mi, Ushi, Hitsuji, Mi, I, Hitsuji, Ne, Tatsu, Saru, Tori, Tatsu, Tori, Ushi, Uma, Hitsuji, Tora, Mi, Ne, Saru, U, I, Tatsu, Hitsuji, Ne, Ushi, Saru, Tori, Tatsu, Ne, I.........."

As the strange girl runs towards them, she sees what the boy is doing and raises an eyebrow.

Y/n: "Tori!! Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!!"
Water then sprouted out of the nearby barrel and took the shape of a dragon. As the water dragons rises into the air, its shadow is casted over them. They look on in fear as the dragon appears to almost growl, while the girl in the background was in pure amazement at what she's seeing before her. The water dragon then launches itself at the thugs and takes them down with minimal damage to the surrounding area, but just enough to knock the thugs out. The people who saw this were just amazed by this and began applauding him. He just shyly chuckles at this while rubbing the back of his head. He could've sworn he heard girls say 'soo cute' but wasn't sure.

Old man: he approaches the boy and raises his hand, "thank you, young man."
Y/n: notices him and his hand and returns the gesture, "oh, it's no problem." but then he gets dizzy for a sec.
Old man: he looks at him with concern, "are you alright?"
Y/n: straightens himself as to not worry the old man, "oh, don't worry. I'm fine./shit even tho it was a small dragon, it still drained a lot of my chakra. Damn it./well, I'll be seeing you, mister."
Old man: out stretches his hand, "wait, no, let me pay you back first."
Y/n: smiles at him, "like I said, it's no problem. I didn't do it for a reward, I did it because it was the right thing to do." causing the old man to smile.

Then a well toned, tanned skinned girl with dark hair fashioned into a ponytail walked up to the boy.

Y/n: he then looks at her, "huh/water tripe? Water bend? Doesn't she mean water style?/it wasn't a big deal, it was just the water dragon jutsu. It just takes a lot of chakra./wait, or is it because few can use it?"
???: she then raises an eyebrow and tilts her head, "jutsu? Chakra? What are you talking about. Is that what you call bending and chi?"
Y/n: now too raises an eyebrow, "huh/ok, what is going on? First they don't accept Ryo, and now they don't know what chakra or jutsu is? What is going on?"
???2: "hey you stop!"

They both look to see people clad in some kind of armor swigging at them with cables from their arms.

As he ran away from them, he takes a look back to see the girl using some kind of earth style but like with the thug, she didn't use any hand signs but so too does the police. As he ran down an alleyway, he looked behind him to see some cops trying their best to keep up with his speed.

Y/n: "screw this. Water Style: Hidden Mist Jutsu!" after he preforms the right hand signs, mist begins to shoot out of his mouth and begins to engulf the area.
Cop 1: he begins looking around, "What the hell?"
Cop 2: "where did this mist come from?"
Cop 3: "I can't see."

We now see Y/n sitting on the roof of a different building overlooking the city, then an audible growling noise could be heard. He then placed his hand over his stomach.

Y/n: "man, I'm hungry. Well it's been awhile since I had to catch my own food." he then stands up and ninja dashes to the park and land near the river, "ok, I'll just fish here.....huh" he then sees a sign that says 'no fishing allowed', he slumps over in annoyance "really? Whatever."

He then takes out a kunai and wire from his ninja pouch. He then ties the wire to the bottom of the kunai and waited. After a few seconds, a fish jumped into the air, acting quickly, he throws the kunai at amazing speeds and hits the fish dead center. He then instantly pulls on the string to pull the fish back towards him, all the while it was still in the air.

Y/n: he looks at the fish, "nice, but it'll take more than this to fill me up and replenish my chakra, but it's a start."
Beat cop: "hey, stop right there!"
Y/n: "shit." he turns to see a cop wearing a different outfit from the others from the other day. "I don't have time for this." he then forms the tiger seal and disappears.
Beat cop: "what the? Were did..... I think I had too much to drink last night." he says as he walks away.
The camera then pans to a nearby tree. As it does, we see the boy walk out from behind it.
Y/n: "good thing I took the time to learn the body flicker jutsu. But I think it's best I leave."
He then ninja dashes to a different location to continue fishing and once he had enough. He went to a roof of a nearby building. He then sets up a little fire, stuck the sticks into the fish and began cooking them.
Y/n: "not as good as Konoha's food, but it'll do until I find my way back or somehow get some money."
???: "so this is where you are."
Y/n: "GAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!"
The sudden scream caused her to jump a bit in shock, while the boy feels like he almost jumped out of his skin. He looks to see the cause was the same girl from the other day.
???: she begins to nervously laugh. "Sorry about that, didn't think I would scare you that bad."
Y/n: he holds his chest trying to regain himself, "yea well I'm on a roof, so I figured no one would see me. Wait, how did you find me"
???: "Naga."
Y/n: he raises an eyebrow, "who? And are you allowed to say that?"
???: "what?"
He then heard something behind him and when he looked, he saw a large white dog like thing eating his fish.

The tanned skinned girl then runs up to the dog thing and tries to stop her.

???: "no, bad Naga. Don't take other people's food. Gaaaahh!" she lets out a defeated sigh, "sorry about that. When she gets hungry, even a mountain couldn't stop her."
Y/n: he just let out a defeated sigh, "what is that thing anyways?"
???: "rude. She's not a thing, she's my best friend. Her name is Naga, and she's a polar bear dog."
Y/n: he raises an eyebrow, "polar bear dog? Never heard of it./and I've seen large toads, snakes, and a huge fox with nine tails fighting a tanuki thing."
???: "well, it's not that much of a surprise, as they mainly live in the northern and southern water tribes."
Y/n: "tribes? Does she mean clans?"
???: "anyways why don't you just buy your own food instead of catching it or are you one of those feed off of the ground types?" she says as she wiggles her fingers.
Y/n: "no I'm not but to be honest I'm from Konoha, but it seems your village doesn't use Ryo. Which is odd as it's supposed to be a universal currency." he says as he places his thumb and finger on his chin.
???: she then puts her hands on her hips and tilts her head, "Konaha? Ryo? What are you going on about, and this isn't a village, it's a city and everyone uses Yuan."
Y/n: "ok, something strange is definitely going on here. I think I need to somehow talk to this girl more. Time for some classical information gathering."
Korra: "well I guessed you might be from some place far away from here, so as an apology for Naga eating your food, why don't I treat you. My name is Korra by the way."
Y/n: "sure, I'm fine with that/that was easy./ my name is Y/n."

We can see as the pair are at a little restaurant. It's small but cozy, just a chill and eat type of place, the type you would go to for lunch during your break from work. Inside, the pair are eating some food. We see as Korra is chuckling at Y/n, watching him chow down on his food, as if he hasn't eaten in days........ oh wait.

Korra: "slow down, haha, it's not going anywhere."
Y/n: stops eating and blushes a little as he scratch the back of his head, "sorry. I haven't eaten anything, since yesterday./or has it been longer?"
Korra: is a little shocked by this, "wow. I couldn't imagine going that long. By the way, I've been meaning to ask, what's with the weird getup and what does that symbol on your head mean?" she says as she points at his headband.
Y/n: stops eating again and looks at her with a confused look, "huh?/can't she read Japanese?/oh this is my Shinobi get up, it's pretty standard for battle and this headband. It means I'm an official Shinobi of Konoha. As for the symbol, it means 'Shinobi'. As we are one rather than a group of villages"
Korra: "Shinobi? And you said Konoha again, is that the name of the city you're from? I've never heard of it. Wait battle?"
Y/n: "yea, Shinobi. As in ninja."
Korra: "wait ninja?! You're a ninja?! I thought they died out!" people looked at her, which makes her a little embarrassed. Y/n on the other hand raises an eyebrow.
Y/n: "died out? What are you talking about? We're everywhere."
Korra: "huuuh? That's news to me."

Y/n: "yea. It's a big thing. Why are you surprised?"
Korra: "because I never heard about that. It was never mentioned on the radio or newspaper."
Y/n: "radio?/ok what? How can she not. The Ten-Tails should be rampaging right now. What the hell is going on? There's no way I ended up that far away from the battlefield, right?"
Korra: "this isn't good. It's my job as the avatar to keep peace and balance, but I didn't know a war was going on."
Y/n: "avatar?"
Korra: "yea, you know, the avatar. Bender of the 4 elements? Bridger of the spirit world? Bridger of peace? Anything?" he shakes his head, "how have you not heard of me or the avatar? I mean, Aang is a big deal. He ended the hundred year war and built Republic City."
Y/n: "a thousand-year war? What are you talking about? There's only been 3, now 4, great ninja wars and no I've never heard of either of you."
Korra: "ok, you MUST be from far away, but that's not possible, is it?"
Y/n: then puts his thumb and finger on his chin,"I'm starting to think the same thing. Nothing she says makes sense to me and judging from what she's saying, neither am I to her. I need to organize my thoughts."

A few minutes later, and we can see the pair is still eating, while Y/n still has on a more serious expression on his face.

Y/n: "ok, from what I'm gathering, I'm in some far away land, an island maybe? They don't know what Shinobi are nor any of the great ninja villages nor what jutsu or chakra is. they have something called cities and from what I can see, they are further along, technologywise, than we are. Plus, they have something called benders. I need to gather more information, but I feel like if I say too much, it might put me at risk. So I should play it safe until I know more."
Korra: "oh, by the way. That water bending trick you did was amazing."
Y/n: "trick? Oh, you mean the water dra.... yea, It's something from my cl... I mean tribe."
Korra: "it's cool, but what were those weird hand symbols you did?"
Y/n: "oh, that's to focus my cha...... I mean.........it's a curse placed on my tribe to limit our great bending skills."
Korra: "a curse? I'm sorry. Your bending must be strong, for that to happen."
Y/n: "ok, so she knows what a curse is, which means they have something similar to it here. Course it's more like jutsu but close./ yea our bending was amazing, but it was done by some unknown being that was jealous of our skills. So now we have to use what we call hand signs to do these bending styles. The advantage is we don't have to preform martial arts to do it, the downside is we have to take the time to weave them, and it drains a lot of our cha-i mean stamina./luckily I paid attention to how she fended the police off and how they handled themselves."
Korra: "man that sucks......... hey wait, Tenzin might be able to help."
Y/n: "Tenzin?"
Korra: "yea, he's an air nomad, and he's all into the whole spiritual stuff. He might know of something." she then grabs his hand, "come on, I'll take you." she begins to walk with him in tow
Y/n: "w-wait."
Korra: she then stops, "what? You don't have anywhere else to go, do you?"
Y/n: "n-no, I don't. Lead the way" she smiled and helped him onto Naga.
Korra: "hold tight. Naga can be pretty rough. Come on girl!" he held onto her waist with a slight blush on his face.

Tenzin: "really? I thought they all died out."
Meelo: "NINJA!?" the kid then shoots out from beside Y/n and lands next to him, "you're a ninja. That's so cool. Do you sneak around and go nin nin?" he then gestures in the stereotypical ninja way. Causing him to chuckle.

Y/n: "well I'm Y/n L/n and as Korra told you I'm a ninja from a village called Konoha./sense I can't avoid that part. Might as well roll with it."
Pema: "Konoha?"
Korra: "wait, did you say you're from the leaf village?"
Y/n: "yes, Konoha means village hidden in the leaves, or leaf village for short."
Tenzin: he then starts to stroke his beard, "I'm afraid I've never heard of it before. Are you traveling or something?"
Y/n: "weelll/how should I spin this? Oh, wait./well, I'm actually not sure?"
Tenzin: raises an eyebrow. "Your not sure?"
Meelo: "what, are you stupid or something."
Pema: "Meelo! Don't say such things. I'm sorry about him."
Y/n: "It's no problem. But what I mean is I have no memory of getting here. All I can remember was being in a battle and got separated from my group, then I got hit by something and blacked out. Next thing I knew I was here./kinda true except for the war and dying part."
Pema: places her hand over her mouth, "that's horrible."
Tenzin: "so someone kidnapped you? But why bring you here, unless something happened to the transport. Maybe I should talk to Lin about this. See if any strange ships were seen in the area."
Y/n:"no no. you don't have to go through any trouble for me."
Tenzin: "nonsense. You're our guest. Besides, kidnapping is a serious offense and if they did it once, they'll do it again. Besides, they might come after you again."
Y/n: "you got a point./well, it's actually because I wasn't, or I think I wasn't."
Korra: "wait, didn't you mention something about a war?"
Y/n: "damn it."
Tenzin and Pema: "a war!"
Y/n: "well shit./yea. My land isn't Konoha, it's my village. Our country is called the Land of Fire. We are at war with an invading force that threatened everyone, even other lands. Luckily I wasn't part of the front lines, so I didn't see much heheheheheeee./I don't want them to know the truth. They seem like nice people, so I don't want to trouble them."
Pema: she gives him a saddened look, "you poor thing. We recently got over our own war, too. Actually, it left the air bender nearly extinct."
Y/n: "air benders?/sorry to hear that."
Tenzin: "oh, don't be. My father was one, and now I have my own family." he then rubs his wife's stomach, causing her to smile, "We'll rebuild. Slowly but surely. However, I am sorry for you Y/n. The war took many lives and ruined many more. So I sympathize with you, but It's good to hear you didn't face the worst of it."
Y/n: "thank you./god, I feel like such a piece of shit for lying to them."
Meelo: "ok, it's too depressing, I wanna hear about ninja man's, ninja skills."
Pema: "Meelo!"
Y/n: "It's alright, he does have a point. mmmm. Oh, here's one."

He then formed the tiger seal and a puff of smoke forms around him and when it clears, he was gone.

Y/n: he then chuckles and jumps down, "She's right. This is a specially made sheet of material that, when done right, helps you blend in with any environment."
Meelo and Ikki: "coooool. Anything else?"
Y/n: "hmmmm./what should I show them? Don't want to go too crazy. Oh./ follow me."

He then leads the others outside and near the water. As he walks, he grabs a leaf from a nearby bush and throws it onto the water.

Korra: "I wanna know how to do that."
Meelo and Ikki: "me too, me too."
Y/n: he chuckled, "sorry it takes years to learn and dedicated training./well actually a few days to a few weeks. Thaaat and chakra."
Them: "awwwww" causing the 2 adult to chuckle.
Tenzin: "but that must take great concentration. Maybe you can teach Korra a thing or 2 about that." she pouts and huffs while looking away. Y/n chuckles and jump back on land.
Pema: "but that jumping distance is amazing too. My you're full of surprises, Mr ninja."
Y/n: "heh, that's nothing."
Korra: "oh, wait, show them your weird bending."
Tenzin & Pema: "weird bending?"
Korra: "yea. He's a water bender, but his tribe was cursed."
Y/n: "right."
Tenzin: "curse. How odd."

Y/n then gets into position and started forming hand signs and when he was done, a dragon formed from the water, shocking them. Then he had the dragon arch over to the other side of the island and land in the water.

Jinora: her eyes widen as she struggles to process this, "it was a dragon."
Pema: "amazing. I've never seen water bending like that before."
Tenzin: "nether have I and my mother is a water bender." he strokes his beard, "but what were those hand movements he did?"
Korra: "that's the curse. He told me his tribe was so good at water bending that an entity cursed them to weaken them by forcing them to weave those hand signs. That's what he calls them."
Tenzin: "I see. mmmmm. I think I have to meditate on it."
Y/n: "actually Tenzin. Is there a library here? Since I'll be staying in republic city for a while, I might as well learn about it."
Tenzin: puts his hands on the boy's shoulders and sheds a single tear, "thank you. Someone your age actually wants to learn. You actually want knowledge, unlike a certain hot head." he then forms a fist and raises it near his chest, "I'll gladly help you, young man. We shall go immediately."

A/n: welp that's it for the first chapter of this story, I hope you enjoyed it. If it seems a bit off, I'm sorry. I'm a little rusty after not being able to write in months, do to my situation. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the reason no one questions you being a water bender is a mixture of you being from another land and, I typically don't make skin color integral of my stories this allows people of other races to imagine themselves into it.
