"Soul Bond: Combined Mass."
"It's been over 10 seconds, why am I still frozen?" No matter what Kataya did, he could no longer cover himself with soul energy. The soul energy Yoku was emitting was exponentially more potent than it was previously.
Yoku's energy was pushing and keeping Kataya's energy in.
"It's been 50 seconds! Yoku, calm down, relax!" The Combined Mass was almost completely finished. The two orbs of Combined Mass were both double the size of a 50 pound bowling ball.
"Yokuviel! Wake up!"
A bright flash of light came straight towards his face. Kataya closed his eyes shut as he felt the impact of two razer sharp, giant glowing balls of pure burning soul energy. The moment they impacted, he felt the burning sensation of his skin against it, and the soul energy phasing through his skin.
Kataya was sent flying into the building that was adjacent to the guest rooms, which just so happened to be The Galram, and as he was sent flying into the building and into a brick wall, he, spitting out blood and partially charred across the entire front side of his body, looked to his right to see the one man he had been waiting for.
"Are you... Lugen?"
"Dear god kid, what happened to you?" Kataya slowly raised his slightly charred arm up towards the hole in the ceiling.
"Just, sit here for now kid. Give me a moment." Lugen said as he headed towards the door before he saw debris fly in front of his face, followed by a human shaped blur.
He looked to his right to see a bone shield covering the front facing side of this person's body. "...Kadia?"
"I'm alright, I'll help the kid, you go deal with Yuko."
"Is Yuko hurt as well?" He asks.
"No. He's the one attacking everything." Kadia responds, getting up and throwing to the side her charred bone shield, as she runs to Kataya's side. "I'll heal this kid, you please try and deal with him.
"Alright." Lugen says as he slowly makes a walk towards the new hole in the side of the building, as he peers out through the hole to see Yuko charging up two more Combined Masses a few 60 feet away.
In a blink of an eye, Lugen disappears from the spot he was peering from, as he starts to breathe down Yuko's neck. "I thought I told you there's more to you than that Yuko." Yuko immediately spins backwards to attack as from the back of his head, he is thrown forward, cancelling both of his combined masses.
"I thought I also taught you not to turn in response to someone sneaking up to you. Attack them when you can't see them to force them to get in your vision."
"Spark: Blood Travel."
"Something new Yuko? That's rare." Lugen says as from where Yuko's standing, a giant explosion goes off.
"I can tell this isn't you acting on your own will." He says, whispering in Yuko's ear, and immediately after, smashing Yuko's face into the ground by grabbing the back of his head.
"Because you know that I can avoid that. I can't believe I have to do this, but I don't want you to break any more of the building..."
"Eh-em." He continues.
"Universal Spark Plug: Infinite Spark."
The entire building disappears, as well as the ground around them. The ground slowly starts to change into wooden tiles, and the sky goes from the blue it was before to a bright white sky. Then, walls slowly formed around them in a spherical shape, all seemingly made of white foam.
"EVERYONE HERE." Lugen yells, as he puts his knee on top of Yuko.
"DO NOT LEAVE THIS SPACE. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO WALK THROUGH THOSE WALLS, IT WILL RELEASE YOU. BUT IT WILL RELEASE YOU INTO THE SKY AS YOU PLUMMET TOWARDS THE GROUND!" He shouts.
"Now that that is done..." He says, pointing a finger towards Kataya.
"I'll choose you."
Everyone else in the area immediately fell to the ground as Kataya watched their soul energy seemingly leaving their body and floating out of the zone.
"Infinite Spark. Only one at a time, I can make Spark holes that can last for an eternity and I have 3 different variations. I have my home, where you just were. I have the earth variation, an exact copy of earth. and finally, this variation. The Ether Variation."
Yuko quickly slips out from underneath Lugen and does an upper-kick towards Lugen's face. It connects, and Lugen is sent flying into his foam roof.
"The fact that you managed to hit means you are regaining your footing. This is your body." Lugen says as he jumps from the roof and towards Yuko, landing a devastating punch to the face.
"My Ether variation has a special condition: at the start of its forming, I choose one person and double their soul strength, and everytime that is done, I have a 30% chance to gain it doubled, and they keep their original strength. a 20% chance to double their strength, get it, and swap my strength with theirs doubled. I then have another 30% chance that instead of picking whoever I picked, it instead picks the person in the room with the strongest energy. Next, I also have a 15% chance to only get their strength at its base value. and finally, I have a 5% chance to get four times their strength. Let's see which one I got."
"Lugen... watch out!" Kataya shouts as he points behind him, to Yuko.
"Spark: Blood Travel."
"...Eh-em..."
"Soul Bond." Lugen says.
"Ton."
Everyone in the room including Kadia and Kataya witnessed an insane burst of soul energy expelling from Lugen's body, however seemingly a solid color.
Red. And an insane amount of it.
"You kid." He says pointing at Kataya.
"Your soul energy in the wrong hands would make someone a god."
Lugen immediately pulls his right hand backwards, as a massive amount of soul energy is expelled from his fist.
BOOM.
Yuko creates an explosion, except this time, Lugen doesn't even attempt to invade it, but instead, stops, pulling his arm backwards, and punches.
"Ton." He says as his fist makes impact with the explosions visual blast radius.
"The ability to punch inanimate things with the force of a full ton dumbbell." He says as the explosion radius seemingly evaporates, except for a thin piece of it.
"And, the materialization of something that isn't solid. Such as this literal piece of an explosion here." He says as he gears his arm quickly backwards and launches this small piece of explosion back towards Yuko, who at this point, was slowly backing up.
Yuko immediately draws his arms up as it goes flying towards his face. It impacts his arms, causing an explosion that sends him backwards, almost through the wall.
"Even with his soul energy being in half, he is insanely strong. Anyone who I do not choose in my Spark Plug to take the energy of has their energy cut in half." Lugen says, as he looks up towards a panting Yuko.
"Which means, I do not know what you did kid, but Yuko is no longer the strength he was before."
"You did something to make him stronger."
Yuko leaps directly towards Lugen with both hands orbs pointing directly at him.
"Spark: Concentrated Mass."
Beams of light, zigzagging back and forth, make it difficult to read where they'll hit from.
"Near impossible attacks to avoid.. However..."
"Spark: Correction."
Both beams of light stop turning and just start going in a straight direction, one going off to the left and one going directly towards Lugen, which he just ducks under.
"Simply make it so that anything within my range stops and just goes in one continuing direction." Lugen says as he vanishes again.
"I know for a fact you know how it works too." He says, breathing down Yuko's neck again. Yuko doesn't turn this time and instead drops down and kicks straight up, hitting Lugen's chin.
"I'm more resilient than that." He says before grabbing Yuko from the ankle and swinging him up and into the roof.
Kataya watches as the moment Yuko hits the roof, blood starts pouring out from his mouth and onto the floor, narrowly missing Lugen.
"Whatever is controlling Yuko..." He continues as Yuko starts falling to the ground.
"Does not truly understand that I know more about him than he does." Lugen says, raising his leg and the moment Yuko passes in front of Lugen's face, he immediately swings a devastating kick to the stomach, sending Yuko flying towards the wall.
"Soul Bond: Temporary Solidification." Instead of Yuko flying out of the Spark hole and into the real world, Lugen solidifies the wall before he flies out. Lugen slowly starts to walk towards Yuko as he lays there, spitting out blood with a ripped shirt showing horrible stomach brusing.
"A few broken ribs won't hurt." He says as he walks up towards Yuko and Kicks him directly in the chest.
"You are so strong, yet you are laying on the ground defenseless. Why is that?" He says, kicking him again, in the stomach.
Yuko immediately starts coughing up giant amounts of blood as he continues to lay there, immobile.
"I think we're done here. For now, we'll just take him back home and tie him to a bed and extract his soul energy temporarily."
"...Soul Bond... Rio Rio: Variation... Gambler's High."
"How... didn't you just use it earlier?"
"He got a perfect 21 twice in a row." Kataya says, now mostly healed but still laying on the ground, out of danger.
"You've got to be kidding me..."

"You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME-" He says as he is immediately frozen. Yuko slowly gets up, but spitting blood as he does.
"Spark: Universal Connection." Yuko says as he slowly sits down in a meditating position, letting himself meditate as he heals to increase his healing speed.
"I'm... Trying... To move..." Lugen says, fully coated in soul energy, only moving one step every 5 seconds.
That's the moment when Kataya, also frozen, got an idea.
"...Spark:... Spirit.. Release..."
Kataya releases his spirit and covers himself in it.
"I... I can also move..." Kataya says as he slowly gets up.
"How?" Lugen asks.
"I... I just used my Spirit Energy... And soul energy at the same time."
Kataya slowly raised his arm up as he pointed towards Yuko.
"Spark:.. Spirit Prison."
The bed falls from the sky, seemingly materializing from the foam on the ceiling, with the same two photos carved in foam.
The aura immediately stops, and everyone is immediately able to move. Lugen immediately jumps to attack Yuko, but before he can...
"Spark: Bus."
A bus from above falls and Lugen immediately reaches up towards the bus to stop it before it hits his head.
"Soul Bond: Ton."
Lugen catches the bus and throws it gently to the side, as Kataya stands right in front of him.
"I did this right before he seemingly lost his mind. So whatever caused him to act how he is was caused from this. Let's just... Leave him be."
Kataya made sure the memory lasted longer this time.
The young boy sat next to his charred father as he sobbed over the corpse. As he continued to sob, he watched as a man around in his 20's walked over to him and knelt down.
"Come here." The man said, arms open wide as he gave a hug to the kid sobbing into his shoulder.
"What happened?" The man asked.
"I.. I killed dad."
"No you didn't. You just didn't realize what you were capable of could do such a thing. Don't blame yourself. Do you have a mother?"
"Dad.. Dad killed her."
They both sat in silence for a minute.
"Son. Boy. You are coming with me now. Can I show you something?" The man asked.
"Sure."
The man reached for his coat pocket and pulled out a tiny jail cell containing a mosquito. "Can you see this?" He asked.
"Yes." The boy answered.
The man paused. "Let's go to my home." Lugen responded.
"Alright." The boy said.
"His eyes are opening. Back up Kataya." Lugen says.
"Alright." He says.
"Where... Am-" Yuko's sentence is cut short as he starts vomiting blood. "Kadia, get over here, we need him to be healed immediately!"
"Yes sir!" She shouts as she starts making a beeline towards Yuko. "Yuko, are you alright?" She asks.
"I... Don't know." He says. "What was the last thing you remember seeing?" She asks.
"I was with Kataya, then out of nowhere... I was remembering when my father died... and when I met Lugen... Then I ended up here."
"Kataya." Lugen says.
He continues, "You somehow sent Yuko into a never-ending dream of him in his most traumatic memory, and you swapped him with some other creature."
"I'm sorry, I am so genuinely sorry." Kataya says, bowing on his knees. "I am so sorry, I will forever be in your debt."
"I might know what happened Kataya, but you're alright. I might have gone through pain when I came back to my body, but I didn't experience the beatdown. But for some reason, I still do feel stronger." Yuko says as he releases some energy throughout his body.
"I'm not sure what you did, but we'll figure out what and how you somehow made me stronger."
"So this is the kid I was meant to meet before?" Lugen asks.
"Yes" Yuko responds. It had now been about 3 whole days since the incident, with repairs already going underway for the damaged buildings. "This kid is marvelous. He has the strongest soul energy I have ever seen, and he can somehow utilize spiritual energy. If this kid wishes to become an Ether, let him. He showed his resolve when he fought you and saved you from me beating you up while you were waking up."
"Are you sure?" Kataya asks.
"I am. But that is not the only thing I am sure of."
"I am sure that you will be one of our strongest Ethers ever."
