Drugs and alcohol? Sure, why not? Let's do this! ... This one will be a list.
Sponge Dough:394Please respect copyright.PENANAHYpvlItEer
Sponge dough is given its name due to its similarities in appearance and texture to the aquatic creature Porifera, though it is much more soft and easier to squish. It can be smoked and inhaled for quick effects, but that way is not as effective as ingesting it, though ingesting takes longer for the effects to be present. The effects in Nigon are slowed thought, slurred speech, and an overall slowed state. The effects in Magon are the same, except that the user also suffers from immediate damage to intellect. People who are dumb to the brick are called "sponge-smokers", even if they don't smoke or eat sponge dough. It is a widely-known drug. It is a depressant.
Black Silt:394Please respect copyright.PENANAufLgJiXsJs
Black silt is a powdery substance that is usually inhaled or boiled in water to be ingested. The effects in Nigon are hallucinations, hyperactivity, sensitive touch, and overall increased activity of the brain. The user feels sluggish after use. Users can be identified by their stained teeth or coughing of a black, tar-like substance. The most notable long-term effect on Magon is the deterioration of intelligence. It is a stimulant.394Please respect copyright.PENANAt2AINYOjvD
Fun Fact: black silt was originally used in Northern rifles' ammunition, the 7mm Powder Ammunition. It acted as a chemical substitute for gunpowder, as that technology was lost in the generations. Black silt is vulnerable to fire and heat, though adding in water seems to significantly slow the process. One is usually advised not to smoke anything for a few days after inhaling black silt, but then again, nobody even listens to the dealers, and their lungs might literally burn to a crisp if exposed to sudden high temperatures.
Sugar Cotton:394Please respect copyright.PENANA1snef68HKn
Sugar cotton is similar to the cotton plant in its appearance and its texture, save that the bulb breaks into a fine powder when subtly heated or touched by anything warm (such as a human hand). It is often inhaled or laced into edible products. The effects are increased physical awareness and increased physical capability. The user often feels slow and weak after use, but that goes away unless if the user keeps taking the drug, in which case they become addicted. Sugar cotton is one of the few legal narcotics due to its use in the military during battles to increase a warrior's strength temporarily. This drug has led to many downfalls of great warriors and magicians alike. It is a stimulant.
Frozen Ghost:394Please respect copyright.PENANAS08lN1EzBs
There's an interesting story about where this drug came from. A ghost was said to have been frozen in a wasteland, and when travelers found it, they tried to break it free. Instead, when they hacked at it, it became an ectoplasm (specifically a soft, silk-like substance). Layers of the ghost lay on the ground, so the travelers thought, "Hell with it, let's burn the thing to give it a rightful burial." When they burned it, however, they received an otherworldly experience. The travelers came home with one piece of the silk and showed it to their master, and the substance was copied by using certain materials and insects and other ingredients. The effects are extreme hallucinations and the appearance that everything slows down to the user. It the most addictive narcotic out on the illegal markets of Magon territory. It is a stimulant.
Suede Spirits:394Please respect copyright.PENANAWO0DRIKY1V
Suede spirits are called such due to the once-most common way of smuggling the drinks: through thin bottles in the shoes. When authorities caught onto this, the smuggling business changed their scheme, but the name stuck with the spirits. Suede spirits are most commonly strong liquor and other flaming drinks. These are illegal in Scentral-controlled territories, though the North and Southeast are happy to smuggle the drinks.
Beer, Mead, Ale, and Wine:394Please respect copyright.PENANA1QKwpO91LU
Not as strong as suede spirits, these legal alcoholic beverages are common in taverns and inns. For celebration or drowning sorrows, these drinks are a common sight in any place, even Southern tribes.
Ryri's Stone:394Please respect copyright.PENANAgYUgTL3FYw
Anlawell lers Ryri is one of the most famous and infamous of the living Mrvde nomads. Something much-known about her is her creation of Ryri's Stone, named after her kin. Ryri's Stone is smooth marble infused with dark, unknown magic that can devastate Nigon and strengthen Magon. The strengths, however, come with weaknesses. The magic siphons life from nearby living things, such as plants, animals, and people. It takes much practice to control what is killed in order to power the stone, but even then, accidents happen. The magic also can create hallucinations worse than Frozen Ghost, if used too often, as well as paralysis. While not technically a drug, it is banned in all places, and Anlawell herself has set a mission to destroy any Ryri's stone she comes across.394Please respect copyright.PENANAikFxyVViAF
Fun Fact: Ryri's Stone was originally created to easily kill game hiding in cacti or other difficult critters' homes in the Mrvde deserts, as hunting is already challenging in the deserts. It was also used in military advances on Scentral's East country, where it effectively subdued many Scentral soldiers and other threats to the nomadic tribes of Mrvde. However, it made its way into Scentral lands, where it was wrongly used.
