I feel like this is something I should address just because. Writers out there know that once you get an idea and roll with it, planning out every detail in a chapter isn't exactly natural. Actually, I've come to a moment of writer's block with one of my stories. In times like these, you want to start writing and have an idea of what you want to go with. ie what's happening to me now.
But, the unfortunate law of the universe commands your brain to cease any logical intellect from being processed. That, more or less, is what prevents me from actually writing as much as I would like.
Sure, my schedule is pretty busy, what with Band and everything, but I still get my me time to do whatever. Usually I'll write, but on a bad day I might just hang around and waste some of my life.
Then again, don't we all do that?
Nevermind. I just find it frustrating when I want to update a certain story that maybe I haven't updated since 2014(hint, hint, me), but then realize I have no headway for it and slowly crumble into a pile of my own pity.
I'm looking at you, story-that-only-needs-one-more-chapter.
I shouldn't be making that many excuses though, because I know I get lazy. Which is a bad excuse. Is it even an excuse? Ah, who knows.
I can say with extreme happiness that I did recently just finish writing one of my favourite stories - Minecraft Hardcore! The game itself is okay to me, it's not even my absolute favourite, but I found that the characters and the impact this story had on me as a writer were amazing.
In a sense, MCHC was the story that made me want to continue writing for as long as I can. Feeling as if the characters were right there with me...it's hard to explain. But, who knows, perhaps one of you will understand what I mean when I say that I can identify with many of the characters I write.
Or that could sound like complete garbage.
Eh, I take what I can get.
But more recently I've taken updating a little more seriously, and am currently trying to update on a weekly basis. One chapter per week. Finish all yer homework and then...read more. Not the best slogan. I'm working on it. 1021Please respect copyright.PENANAXDZkuzps3o
I suppose that's enough for a bit of an issue. Can I call these issues? Chapters? Entries?? I can't say. But, I'll end it off here. We may meet again when I find a need to vocalize my whiny needs on the internet. *Insert thumbs up here*
