“Brother I swear.” Midnight mumbled to the eldest of the three siblings. She nearly tripped on the various stacks and scatters of papers as she entered his room, “Sister don’t swear.” Her brother scolded, even though she adored his merciless intelligence; his cleanliness was something he honestly needed to work on.
She sighed, nodding slowly while picking up each and every printed sheet she discovered on the floor; handing it over once she was done. “Samuel, you are absolutely ridiculous.” Her accented voice chuckled, “Well, I’m sorry.” Came the saracastic remark from the dark skinned male. Samuel,–the eldest of the siblings– was a sarcastic, tall male. His eyesight was poor and so he wore rectangular glasses that suited his face well.
He glared at her, patting down his dark blue vest and smoothing his silky, ebony hair into a side-quiff. Maroon eyes burned into his younger sister’s dark violet ones, sure, he was an Alpha, but it’s not like the young omega had anything to be afraid of; she knew the ups and downs, the here’s and there’s of the whole house anyway.
A sassy grin plastered itself on her face as she took a step forward, letting out her black, fluffy ears and tail on display. Midnight,–the second youngest of the siblings– was a neko, similar to her brothers. The main difference? She was adop—well…found. You see, Midnight was left by her actually family as a kitten, and was thankfully found by the two Alpha brothers–Samuel and Alfred– who also so happened to be nekos.
They were surprised at first, but chose to keep Midnight, naming her after her tail and ear colour. The memory sent shudders down the 14-year old’s spine. “Sister.” Samuel whistled, leaving his chestnut tail to form and ears to pop-up attentively on his head. He hissed slightly, cursing mentally at his feline-side taking over.
She stalked closer, slowly beginning to trace her steps in a large circle. The closer she got, the further he backed up; step by step until the lanky male felt his back hit the wall behind him. “Sister. Stop it now.” He snarled, “Or…what..? You’ll hurt me..?” she giggled. With each step, it felt like the room thumped along with it. In a flash, his sister pinned him to the wall, palms placed flat next to his elbows.
“Midnight Belladonna! I demand you stop this.” Her brother fired sternly, a translucent dust of pink sprinkled over his face; that’s what cats were good for: trapping you and making you fall right under their spell. Midnight backed off immediately, even if they were family, her brother was still an Alpha, the oldest at that; so if he was really pissed then there was no going back.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash. The two siblings shared a glance between each other before speeding off to find the source of such a catastrophic noise. Alfred,–the youngest– had spilt a whole cup of coffee all over the kitchen floor, staining it with brown, steaming liquid. “Alfred, honestly.” Midnight breathed, there’s was no point even asking what happened as the sight of a broken mug and stain was more than enough evidence.
“My apologies.” He frowned, furry ginger tail and ears twitching uncontrollably, “Come on, let’s clean this up and be done with it.” Samuel instructed, and they were off. A bit of hope glimmered in Alfred’s slightly lighter maroon eyes as he felt the sympathy his siblings were giving off.

About ten minutes had passed and the kitchen was sparking again. Midnight panted, heading to her room to change into something clean. She sat on her galaxy blue covers, mindlessly thinking about what to wear; finally deciding on something, she got up and picked out a dark purple sweater with long sleeves and long, black stockings, the whole outfit was topped off with a dull lilac flower crown.
She crossed her legs and awaited her two brothers’ return; they had all planned to head out and get some snacks. The eldest poked out of his room, walking over to his sister. Samuel wore a navy blue vest over a white collared dress shirt with black shoes to finish it off. “Where’s Alfred?” Midnight pondered, “He said he wanted to play so he’s taking time to freshen up.” She nodded to Samuel’s response, acknowledging that she heard him.

Minutes tapped by and finally Alfred had decided to leave his room. Dressed in a velvet hoodie and black gym shorts, the youngest tramped down, swiping his soon-to-be-sweaty hair down so it covered his forehead. “Pardon me Alfred.” Midnight voiced out, she was always more vocal than her brothers. Alfred walked a bit faster, appearing in front of his siblings with his basketball.
Midnight pouted at the sight of his hair, all messy and scruffy. Her hand swiped towards it, gently moving it away. “Sister~” The latter whined. Midnight let a light purr out and they were off.
