Warrior: Mom! Dad! I’m home.
Johnny/SVF: *from the kitchen* In here, son.
Warrior: *walks into the kitchen to find Veronica sitting in a chair with SVF standing behind her* What’s going on?
Veronica: We wanted to talk to you about something.
Warrior: *starts to get defensive* Look, if it’s about that Zombiathan creep earlier, I swear, I was just doing what I thought was-
Veronica: It has nothing to do with that.
Warrior: *pauses* It’s not?
Johnny/SVF: Nope.
Warrior: Oh, okay.
Veronica: But first, how was your date?
Warrior: *gets a bit flustered* Well, it wasn’t really a date.
Johnny/SVF: *sighs* Sure it wasn’t.
Veronica: Do you like the girl?
Warrior: I mean… she’s nice.
Veronica: That’s good to hear. I’m just asking cause, well, you’ve never really had experience with a girl.
Warrior: Yeah… so?
Veronica: Well, you are coming of age where your father and I think it’s okay to date.
Warrior: *gets slightly excited* Really?
Johnny/SVF: Yes, Warrior. We feel like you’re mature enough and responsible enough to have this privilege.
Warrior: Oh… wow. You really see me as mature?
Veronica: At least mature enough to go out with girls.
Warrior: Wow, thanks mom. Thanks dad.

Warrior: In… in that case. There’s a thing this Friday at the school. It’s...well, a dance. Felicity asked me to it, and I said I’d have to ask you. I know it’s during family dinner, but we’ve done so many family dinners, and there will always be more. And…

Warrior: Really?! Thanks guys.
Veronica: *smiles real big*
Johnny/SVF: You’re very welcome, son.
Warrior: Oh, was there something else you wanted to tell me?

Veronica: *looks back at SVF*
Johnny/SVF: *nods at her*
Veronica: We are going on a vacation.
Warrior: *gets wide eyed* Really?!
Johnny/SVF: Yup! We are going to the same beach house that your mom and I went to for our honeymoon.
Warrior: Sweet!
Veronica: But they’ve added tons of stuff. Like, you could go scuba diving. You could go on a hike. You could do a cookout.
Warrior: This is awesome! When do we leave?
Johnny/SVF: Monday.
Warrior: This is so cool! I’d better pack. *perks up* I’d better text Felicity! *turns around and walks out of the kitchen to his room*
Johnny/SVF: *nods his head almost approvingly* Yup… he likes her.
Veronica: *gives SVF a look*
Johnny/SVF: What? We did tell him he was of age.
Veronica: Yes, we did. I just hope he actually makes time for the family after we get back.
Johnny/SVF: He will, don’t worry. He loves us very much.
Veronica: You’re right. He’s not going anywhere.
