Anywho The Mortal Instruments Series is a great book series and if you haven't read it, pick it up and try to follow along and forgive me for the spoilers. I've read up to City of Lost Souls, and if there are any more I don't know haven't looked. Also let me say this: Why the fuck did Alec and Magnus have to break up? They were like the OTP for the fandom, and just no!!! anyone not that far I'm sorry.
Anywho, lets start with some of the popular ones, like Jace and Clary. It's canon, it's so damn typical. Strong main female, male lead who in real life female lead would hate, so of course they fall in love. It's cliche, and I love it. Jace is a total prick, yet he does seem to have sex appeal, and I can that he loves Clary, though the whole he might be Clary's brother thing majorly screwed with my mind and sorta pissed me off by screwing up a good pairing, but its ok now.
Magnus/Alec-because what is hotter than a gay Shadowhunter and a bisexual Warlock? I say nothing. They were cute together, I was hoping for steamy sex scenes then remembered it was a young adult series. Seriously though,the fact Magnus was immortal and Alec wasn't was a bit of a pain, but oh well.
Clary/Simon- it's obvious that he has a crush on Clary, and it's about a 6.5/10 because the fact they are best friends almost gurantees Simon a place in the friendszone. Sorry buddy.
Simon/Isabelle- this pairing is about a 5 because unless this was an female led S&M scenario, it wouldn't happen. If it was a S&M relationship then I totally ship this.
Jace/Alec-so they are like brothers, and Jace is straight, but I don't give a damn this could be a thing and is in my world.
Isabelle/Clary- also a not a thing but could be a thing, though lets be honest if I was in charge then everyone would be dating everyone and sex would be in every chapter.
Valentine/Joclyn (or however you spell it)- because even an evil asshole needs to get laid
