I think, despite being half robot, I still possessed many of the qualities of a human being.
I was able to eat the small meal of rice and sardines (don't ask me where he'd got it from; my only guess was that he'd been storing dried rice, pasta and canned goods in here for ages, seeing as he certainly had a plentiful supply.)
I was also able to drink the UHT (that's Ultra Heat Treated milk, that has been heated to a really high temperature to make it last longer) without malfunctioning, which came as a massive surprise to all of us.
I'd never seen my friends eat before, partially because there was nothing to eat out in the desert.
Dianne was clearly much more civilised than I'd originally thought. She ate slowly, with both hands, even wiping her mouth when she was done.
Jack was the same, although he clearly didn't want to show his hunger as he shoveled down each spoonful ravenously.
If I were to compare them, taking into account the fact that we all hadn't eaten for a pretty long time, I would have thought that they both might have come from upper-class families; but the way Jack ate at each mealtime, he could have easily been a prince.
Afterwards we got prepared.
Reg had told us that normal, robotic robots (unlike me) hated water, sand, and magnets.
Dianne spent the next half an hour disassembling some bits and bobs she'd collected from the battle with the robots we'd had before.
May I also make it clear that the fact these were bits from robots and I was part robot really unnerved me.
So much, in fact, that I'd decided to stay away from those parts for the next couple of days.
Imagine someone you were travelling with were carrying some scratched human limbs, and you know how I feel.
She later emerged with three strange purplish-black balls, explaining how to activate the magnets inside by pressing the red buttons on the side.
She gave one to each of us, and offered the last to Reg.592Please respect copyright.PENANA1vAxleT0Kg

A good couple of hours later we were ready.592Please respect copyright.PENANAcpk9lbTuPC
We said our goodbye's and thank you's, and we set off.
We were going to teach those robots a lesson, and each one of them was going to get what was coming.
