I loaded my laser guns and sharpened my blades, both of which had been helpfully folded up and stored somewhere in my body up until now.
Jack was up on the cliff above us, ready to spring into action.
We were all ready to take down these guys.

We'd barely given the robots any time to attack, and that put us instantly into the lead.

I felt a rush of cold air hit the robot to my left. The ice had stopped barely inches from my feet.
I looked up at Jack and smiled.
He smiled back.
I don't know quite how long it had been before I noticed the snowball rain had stopped.
I pushed down yet another robot to the ground, and stared up at the cuff where Jack had been standing - but he wasn't there.
A myriad of possibilities flashed into my head, all at once.
