Ian tossed and turned in his bed.

At one point he woke and went to the kitchen to fetch himself a glass of water to calm his nerves.

Then he went back to bed.

But the nightmares wouldn't stop.

The nightmares.

That seemed to relive the household fire that killed Jacob and Janice Starling.

Constantly repeating, just like a time loop.

And worst of all, he was there.

There experiencing Jacob's death.

And then there was...

The light.

The light that only he could see.

And in that light...

A heavenly being?

Getting closer...

Seemed familiar...

"Hello, Ian."

Ian gasped.

The being was speaking to him.

But something about that voice...

Childish?

It was a very high-pitched voice.

There was no disguising the surprise in Ian's voice.

The surprise that the boy, the poor, possibly orphaned boy he'd found sitting in the street...

That he was actually...

A real, live...

Angel.

"So you know, now. About my real identity."

"Yes."

"And now I require your help."

"You need... my help?"

"Yes."

"With what?"

"To find out what really happened to my father."
