Wake up! My wolf ushered me.
I groggily woke up, I was glad not to have my usual wake up. How long have I been asleep? I asked her.
Since we’ve been gone, were in Ohio! She said excitedly.
This goes this far? I asked her.
No but I controlled you’re body slightly to move. She told me.
Why didn’t you wake me up? I asked her.
She mentally shrugged my shoulders. The bus heaved at a stop, I looked at the bus stop sign. It read its next route, Florida. I got off, and headed on the next bus, this one cost a little more, but it’s where I wanted to go. I wanted to be as far away as possible. After about an hour the bus stopped at an overly packed McDonalds. I got to McGriddle and went back to the bus to eat, after that I fell back to sleep.
After that I awoke to my wolf, Get up! She yelled at me.
Where the hell are we? I asked her.
I think somewhere in Alabama almost to Georgia she told me. The bus gave a lurch as it stopped at a gas station.
“Ok everybody. Go to the bathroom or whatever you need to do…while I pump some gas up. Then we’ll stop to another rest stop to another bus. There you will be in the Sunshine State.” He said fixing his hat.
I quickly got out and ran to the nearest bathroom, I quickly did my business then bought one of those cheap word searches and a coke. I didn’t feel like eating. I pushed the thought out of my head, I was the first one of the bus, after that they all came back on the bus. I did the word search about the rest of the ride to the rest stop. I think an hour and an half later we stopped but this time at a bus station. I got my small bag and the little things that I did have, and went to brick building.
Heavy winds blew on me when I walked into the building, it was those things in the malls or super markets to keep the bugs out of the building. A few people that were wolves stirred, most of them were workers, and others were rouges like me I think…wanting a new start. I looked at the black boards, not the chalk ones but the ones that had those place mate letters. Tallahassee, FL…Bus 146b…Jacksonville, FL…Bus 147c… Orlando, FL…Bus 148F. All of them seem reason except all of them didn’t come till tomorrow. I bit my lip, there wasn’t a hotel nearby. No car I was stranded!
We could go run. There is a woods behind this dump! Come on! I NEED to stretch my legs out! She cried out.
Oh fine! I cried out in defeat.
I quickly ran to the woods. I got to the center of the forest, the center of the forest is where you can’t see anything outside of the woods, for example where I was I couldn’t see a hint of there ever being such of a building. I quickly striped, and put my clothes in my bag, I shifted painfully, it didn’t hurt as bad as the first one did but it still did. I put my bag in my mouth and ran, ran like I never did, the warm summer air climbed over my back and under my stomach. I manufactured the colors to my tail and under my belly, it was like a little game. I ran faster, my feet hitting the soft ground them a small puddle. I ran faster splashing the little puddles.
STOP! My wolf yelled at me. I immediately stopped.
We almost went across another pack. Let’s just go around. Slowly she walked up the hill around the barrier. Before I couldn’t see it, but now I did. It was like an invisible wall you could go through it but if you did you would get killed in there.
Let’s shift and get dressed. I shifted, and quickly got dressed. I slung my pack on my back and went down the hill, we were now in some town. The hill lead to an orange grove that was also adjacent to a subdivision. I quickly got down from the hill. There was also a link fence around the whole entire back of the subdivision. I hopped over the fence and walked on the sidewalk. It curved till there was a ditch and an entrance/exit. To my left was another subdivision, then on the other was a busy highway, taking the highway.
