Naruto Fans and the power of Naruto’s Sob-Story Fan-Fictions.
So much nonsense in two posts. What in God’s name are you people smoking? Do you folks care to pass it along in the name of charity? Let’s dismantle this one by one.
1) Naruto lived in the red-light area and was raised around hookers, bad men, and prostitutes! Huh? What? Which manga have you people read? There isn’t a panel to support this claim. Not a single one.
Naruto created and used his Harem Jutsu ’cause it works against men:
See what I mean? He doesn’t use it ’cause he’s seen prostitutes (?) use it, or he lives in the red-light area (!), he uses it ’cause it works and he’s a boy who’s hit puberty (did you hear that, folks? Boys)! We see that he’s curious about Make out Paradise, too, and sees it as an indecent book:
Later, he gave a copy to Kakashi and told the analyzer that Jiraiya used to make him read the drafts of his work, and he found them boring:
We see him grinning and enjoying girl on girl action created by Konohamaru:
Yes, growing boys liking girl-on-girl action or pornography means that they live among prostitutes, bad men, and violence! It certainly has nothing to do with basic biology, right? Sakura liked guy-on-guy action, too, so she lives in the red-light district among prostitutes, bad men, and violence, too?
When Hiruzen saw Naruto teach Konohamaru, his grandson, this Jutsu, he didn’t say that Naruto picked it up from the red-light district or that his grandson shouldn’t learn it. He just thought it was a prank!
He didn’t stop Naruto or Instruct Ebisu to drag his grandson away from Naruto. He was amused! And I love the dig at prostitutes. I’ll bet that an average Tumblr goer’s high and mighty morality is too damn superior to talk smack about women working in abject poverty and being equated with bad men and violence. Sometimes, this fandom sickens me to no end. Get off your high horses. You’re not superior to prostitutes (women being sold into slavery, living in poverty, going through exploitation) in any manner whatsoever. I’m sure your mothers boost your little egos (along with the pin-packed chastity card) this way, but, trust me, it isn’t true. Moving on …
2) Villagers taught their children to attack Naruto! False! A decree was passed by the Hokage that prevented people from even talking about Naruto being a Jinchuriki (Jin):
Some kids just picked on their parents’ apathetic attitude, but we know that it wasn’t true for all kids: Kiba, Chouji, and Shikamaru used to play with Naruto when they were little. All of them were scolded by Iruka for being slackers:
Naruto being ignored by everyone is just plain wrong. Not to mention the parents’ so-called contempt was just a few cold words and that too in hushed whispers:
That’s the worst someone’s said and done to him as a decree was in place and saying something like that was punishable by law. Hiruzen personally talked to Iruka about caring for Naruto, which is why he always kept watch on Naruto himself and cared for him.
He never objected Ebisu to stop Naruto from interacting with his grandson. In fact, he was happy that they’d become friends:
Naruto used to play pranks regularly, and Hiruzen used to put up with Naruto’s terrible attitude. He was given so much leeway that no other orphan ever was.
3) No one cared for Naruto! False! It’s the exact opposite: he got special treatment from the Hokage and Iruka despite being an ill-mannered brat and a complete nuisance:
He constantly defaces monuments, but he’s never punished for it. Every person’s sick of him. And before anyone says, “look, one kid said that he’ll be dead-meat once they catch him”, then it’s no different from kids saying to their classmates or friends that “you’ll be dead” or “you’ll be dead-meat” if they’re doing something silly that’ll get them into trouble with the school staff or their parents. My sister used to say that to me, but that doesn’t mean my mom wanted to literally kill me. I shouldn’t even have to explain this, but you never know with Naruto fans: they like to over-embellish Naruto’s sob story.
He doesn’t study and all he does is play pranks:
He doesn’t care that Iruka gives him attention, doesn’t study, and wants preferential treatment from all them. He got so mad that Iruka failed him and that’s how Mizuki manipulated him:

He’s trash-talking someone who had no one in his life. No support, either. Unlike Naruto. Keep that in mind that a test failing is all it took for Mizuki to manipulate Naruto; yet people rag on Sasuke for being easily manipulated by Orochimaru despite Sasuke nearly dying in a coma that resulted from him watching the genocide of his family millions of times (Itachi had also broken his ribs and wrist and humiliated him). The severity of the trauma isn’t even comparable to Naruto’s so-called “examinations failing” ordeal that’s utterly forgettable in its lack of severity.
Say whatever you want, but all of Team-7 save Sasuke (who actually took action throughout the course of the manga to right the wrongs of his life’s tragedies) is so weak-willed that it’s … crazy! I find that utterly hilarious! Sakura only weeps. Naruto has a lot of grand speeches to spare for every orphan who had it way worse than he ever did (save Bee). Kakashi wallows around in his pigsty of “woe is me” that is as absurd as it can get as it’s nothing more than pointless stasis and inaction to appear as a custom-tailored caricature of a “man who puts a mask on his woes”; he always makes me laugh as to how he revels in his maudlin cock-and-bull that isn’t worth a damn, not even narratively.
See? He wants preferential treatment from Iruka when he doesn’t even study! His basics were so bad that Kakashi told Ebisu to teach them to him, and he bad-mouthed Sasuke (who saved him in the Wave-Arc and Forest of the Death) and Sakura (who saved his life from Zabuza’s sword and stopped his fall with a Kunai when Orochimaru threw him away) when he didn’t even know the basics:
When Ebisu explained that Sasuke’s talents are a bit lacking in one department, he immediately made fun of Sasuke when he saved his life a couple of times!
I don’t know why his fans think that people should molly-coddle him and bend over backwards to kiss his backside. Is it that he’s an orphan? So what? So were Sasuke, Neji, Sai, and Kabuto. They had way worse than Naruto ever did. None of them got this preferential treatment from Hiruzen or Iruka who used to regularly take Naruto out for meals:
He stepped in front of Naruto to save his life. Twice!
Naruto was going to hide it out and let Iruka die. He only stepped out to save Iruka’s life when he acknowledged him! Jesus, wow! That’s kind of sick, to be honest.
Then Iruka promises to treat him:
That’s so nice of Naruto. All it took from Iruka was acknowledgement and a congrats for Graduation. Otherwise, Naruto didn’t care much about being treated to meals daily, been taken care of, and Iruka being an orphan. The only thing, from the looks of it, that mattered to Naruto is his own life. He rolls around in his life’s supposed misery. Then people say Sakura’s selfish.
He even said to Konohamaru it it was him who had to win Iruka’s favor, and it’d been so hard to make him act nice to him. Which is a big fat lie!
Iruka gave his life twice for Naruto, was kind to him, and took him out for meals daily! I guess, none of it was enough for “woe is me; my life’s tragic-er than all of you” Naruto.
What about Hiruzen? He went out of his way to treat Naruto differently. He granted him missions he didn’t deserve. That’s something that shocked Kakashi:
They were even granted a C-Rank mission ’cause of Hiruzen being lenient on Naruto:
What about Hiruzen personally hiring Kakashi to take care of Naruto?
Kakashi’s dialogues prove that he’s known and watched over Naruto before. Which isn’t a surprise as he had served in Anbu.
What about Hiruzen putting up with Naruto sneaking inside his house, stealing a forbidden scroll with deadly Jutsus, and running off into the forest?
Some of the Jutsus in the scroll were so dangerous that the shinobi were out for blood. And why shouldn’t they be? He jeopardized the safety of the village because of his wish to be treated differently when he wasn’t eligible to pass. Why’s Sasuke given flack, again? He’s never asked for preferential treatment. He never stepped out of line. He used to mind his own business. Seriously, why? I’ve noticed that everything Fanon-Sasuke does, Canon Naruto does in canon … pretty much all the damn time! Nice, no?

What about Iruka? Wasn’t he an orphan, too? Why weren’t all people and the Hokage nice to him? Where was his support?
What about Neji, a slave, branded with a seal that could kill him any time the Head Hyuuga Family wanted? Where’s his preferential treatment?
Konoha and Hiruzen accepted his slavery!
Look at that three dots of concern from Hiruzen! No, he offered Neji’s father’s head to Ae (4th Raikage) for the kidnapping of Hinata, which was done by Ae, to avert a war rather than protect his citizens, ’cause the Branch Family were slaves and expendable!

What about Kabuto? An orphan used and abused by Konoha?
They separated these children from the woman who cared for them, brain-washed them, and then used them against each other:

You think Hiruzen didn’t know what was going on in the Village-run orphanages? Shut the front door!
What about Hiruzen not doing much about the countless Genins, Chunins, and little toddlers Orochimaru killed? What about the children left orphans when he killed adult men and women?
I suppose, Orochimaru gave Leaf weapons like Yamato after he abducted sixty toddlers to see how they’d react to Hashirama’s DNA:
What about creating starving orphans in poor villages?
The kind of suffering these poor kids faced, Orochimaru should’ve put them out of their misery. They pillaged these small villages, killed their people, and left them poor and without help:
Hirzuen was a part of these wars that all of them, including dear ol’ Tsunade (who’s thought to be this shining beacon of niceness), fought, backed, and endorsed. What about these kids? It’s not like even Tsunade left these villages alone. Oh, no, she couldn’t let them flourish, now could she? People like Jiraiya sought out Pain to destroy the peace and stability Rain Village was finally enjoying after Pain ended the Civil War which Konoha was always a part of!
What about the victim of a government-led genocide, Sasuke, who was shunned and made to live in the same compound where his whole race was butchered?
What about the Uchiha families and kids that they relocated (population-movement is a war crime and is one of the main precursors of genocides) to the outskirts of the village when he could’ve just given the clan equal share in the political power, a power they deserved as citizens?
Hiruzen didn’t stop the persecution that’d started since Tobirama’s time:

Did Hiruzen stop any of this? No. Instead he used a fanatical Jingoist like Itachi against his own people and put all the burden of killing every last one of the Uchiha, even the children, on him:
What about this genocide? Why aren’t people this upset about these victims? Why do you all have to be so absurdly upset about Naruto when he faced nothing compared to these people, especially Sasuke and Nagato? Where’s the kindness for these children that Hiruzen showed to Naruto? Where’s the special treatment for these kids that Hiruzen showed to Naruto?
Poor Iruka, Neji, Sai, Kabuto, people and kids murdered in spades by Orochimaru and the orphans he created, Nagato and the starving kids of Rain Village, and victims of Genocides like Sasuke. Because if you aren’t Naruto (an avatar onto which self-victim-hood can be projected), you don’t get any special treatment, folks!
4) Kushina was a victim, too, ’cause … reasons. False!
Kushina was happy that she became the Hokage’s wife and was able to support Minato like Mito supported Hashirama!
She had friends, too. No body shunned her or anything like that:
5) Jinchurikis were badly treated by all villages. False!
They were closely guarded secrets and their disappearances weren’t advertised by the villages:
Gaara didn’t start killing people ’cause of the assassination attempts. It’s the other way around! When he was born, he was shown love and kindness:
But Gaara turned out to be a failure and started killing people at random:
Shukaku rampages killed countless people, and Rasa was left with no choice put to test Gaara one last time:
Rasa’s plan failed and Gaara went on a huge rampage. He’d killed about half of the villagers till that point, haha.
The murder attempts were made after, not before that:
I’m not suggesting what Rasa did was right, but Gaara had no one save for his uncle, too! In fact, Gaara had his uncle’s love till he didn’t die. But let’s keep crying for Naruto’s life that was … somehow worse than everyone else’s. (Yes, that was sarcasm.)
Bee was protected by Ae from the start. He became the Raikage and adopted Bee as his younger brother! Bee was only five when he was selected to be a Jinchuriki:

Tell me, why do Naruto fans have to make stuff up for Naruto to dial up his cartoon-tragedy to level one-thousand? Everything his fans post is Fan-Fiction at this point. Nothing in the OP posts is even close to canon! Why do people self-insert and feel remorse for a bratty kid who made fun of the other orphan who showed him nothing but love and kindness and fed him, too? He even threw his life on the line for him. What a spiteful and belligerent kid! Isn’t this why everyone rags on Sakura? That she made fun of orphans? Then why’s Naruto given a pass for his spitefulness? I didn’t even touch upon the fact that he made fun of Sasuke, too, another orphan:

6) No one ever taught Naruto a thing and sidelined him for Sasuke. False! What about the preferential treatment he constantly got? Why do people keep forgetting that Naruto was the first person in team-7 to be taught by a Sannin, along with the special tutor, Ebisu, arranged for him just to re-teach him the basics (already posted these scans above)?
Other than the Rasengan, Jiraiya also taught him HOW to control both of his Chakras (regular and Kurama) and the Summoning Jutsu:
That’s why he won the fight against Neji and Gaara. Who else from the entire village got this treatment at this point? No one. Not even Sasuke despite being astronomically talented than Naruto! He was only taught one Jutsu, Chidori!
But poor, poor Naruto! People shunned him. Nobody gave him any preferential treatment. Nobody taught him anything. He was never ever an asshole to others, especially orphans. He was physically bullied (?) and no one was ever nice to him. And he had no one to care for him. (Yes, that was sarcasm, too.)
