After her parents die and she loses her job, Laina moves back to her childhood town and becomes suddenly close to her married neighbor Weston. However, Weston isn't just the sweet handsome guy next door, he's the serial killer that has been terrorizing the town and Laina has found herself in the middle of solving the mystery. 

  Between her medication, the strange things occurring in her new home, and feelings for Weston she starts to feel like coming back home was a bigger mistake than she thought.
