The vibration of a cell phone relentlessly buzzed causing me to shift in bed. Feeling the weight of another person laying on my arm brought the flashback of the night that occurred. Grabbing for the vibrating phone I managed to squint at the message on the screen. Apparently it was the reminder I set remembering that last night me and Astra struck a deal.

After some time my companion manage to finally stir awake fully. She made her way to the bathroom collecting her discarded clothing on the way. With a heavy sigh I finally decide to move myself forward to get ready to meet Astra. I don't think I was sane when I agreed to that deal now that I fully recall. Morning jog and me did not go together at all but I did need her to accompany me to the new gym opening up. Maybe I could finally play matchmaker and get Astra someone besides me in her life.

With that she left and yet another girl hooked on a relationship with me. Man it is such a pain when this happens but it always happens at some point I guess. After showering and getting some hygiene done my phone decided to remind me I'm late. At this point it's basically a common occurrence sometimes I wonder if I'm stalling on purpose. Once leaving my apartment it was a short walk to Astra's place since we technically lived in the same complex. for some reason I always had to breath and collect myself before seeing her face to face. My fingers traced along the key before slipping it into the door stepping inside.

I just had to see how long it would take or last.. maybe if that incident never happened I could have accepted her confession.. Shaking my head clearing away the thoughts I finally headed out to catch up with Astra.

I was not the athlete like Astra who ran track back in highschool. But falling behind just meant I could enjoy the view a little more she really did have a good figure. And before long I felt the burning sensation creep up on me quickly and soon the fire station was in sight thank God.

I began catching my breath recovering from my exhaustion and soon i felt her eyes on me. She did this a lot when she thought I was not aware. I always felt so bare before her piercing gaze the way she just lingers on me. I had to pull her attention back without embarrassing her though.

Back when Ash ran track she was our schools sun for sure she could run for days without pause I am sure. She was not the good kid who got straight A's and was praised by her family she just really loved running. But it was something the rest of our friends never learned about her I was the lucky one in the group. It's why I call her Ash god I was such a Pokemon dork back then. But the way she resembled him in personality I just could not help calling her Ash back then....My Ash.
