I have been waiting in this familiar room for a while but when the nurse came in she also brought a familiar person in, My father. The nurse didn't stay but even so, I couldn't help crying I felt like a kid again. I reached for him like I always did It's been so long since I saw him last I just wish I knew how he found me. We just sat there have holding each other as I cried I was so happy to have him back in my life. I couldn't help but realize mother wasn't with him and when I asked he explained a lot that happened over a couple of years I been away. Even though I thought I was a burden and left because of it yet they still got a divorce, I thought I could prevent it. One day return and we would be a happy family again.

My Father assured me I wasn't responsible and that everything was gonna be okay. He even introduced someone to me and I can tell how close they are. Jean was nice and I can tell how much he cares about Dad so we sat there talking learning everything possible. They told me about Astra and Cait how they helped them out that's when I brought up Joy to them. Jean seems to know Joy more than dad which made me curious that's when I realized the connection. Fate is strange how it decides to weave the threads and link things together. When dad left to talk to the doctor again Jean began telling me a little about Astra and Cait, it helped me understand more about Joy.

He was right I needed to take a leap of my own with Joy, she deserves the same thing as anyone. And if I can give it to her then I would be more than happy to do just that. When dad came back he said the test came back clear and that I could head home. I couldn't resist hugging him again I was happy beyond what I thought possible. Jean said I should hurry home and tell Joy the good news. Dad said they would be in town waiting for me to call so we could all go out together, I couldn't wait. But I needed to tell Joy the good news.

When I got home I was feeling so many things at once but I was so nervous and anxious, even deep breaths didn't calm me. But I took a step inside and found her.

She had that distant look again and it hurt to see it but I know what her fears are. My body was no longer held back by anything it just moved. That's when I realized that I was kissing Joy while holding back tears, I wanted to convey that she meant everything to me. So I poured everything into that kiss and she gave me the same in turn, that look of flight dissolved in an instant. I wanted her to stay by my side so when we finally took a breath I whispered it like a promise.

Lines of Devotion has not been completed just yet I plan to make another addition to it. In a way, it will be like book two. The way I wrote lines of devotion was Six pieces per chapter and I don't know if that was too long or not long enough. But I did what I could to make every chapter counter. For me, lines of devotion were a mystery larger than every other story because I didn't know where I was going next. It was my first started book and I wanted it to be the rawest form of a story I could give. Writing this story was mentally draining which did cause me writing problems at times as well as kept me exhausted. But this story needed to be told as it was.

I was writing this and added a lot of messages inside of each line. Because every person has a situation but we also have a certain person no matter who. And in a way, I wrote this with hidden messages you could take away from this. This story has pieces of me in it as well which describe somethings about me. Going forward to the second book will take some time and I wanna make sure I find the way to start it off right. So thank you to the readers who have enjoyed the story to this point.
