He didn't want to go out on such a night but his friends and his newly married brother had dragged Carter King out of his apartment to the abr a few miles down the road from his new apartment. Carter sat there in the booth with his beer and watches his 2 best friends flirt with 2 not so attractive looking females. Carter shrugs. His brother looks at Carter. Carter did not want to go to some rinky dink bar and drown his sorrows in beer like his father had done. He wanted to stay in his apartment and finish unpacking the rest of his belongings. He wanted to relax before he went to work in the morning. He wanted to busy himself until the pain went away. Besides that, it is the middle of December and his body did not react well to the cold. He always got so sick even from a slight head cold.
' But, his 2 friends whom are now having drinks thrown in their face and his brother whom is just sitting there as if he wants to address the issue that is causing Carter to become a serious shut-in. Due to it being a new issue, Carter has no intentions of discussing any part of his life with anyone . . . anymore.
