Andrea stood out from the crowd because she is wrapped up in a towel and is not being convicted of anything. She did not have to tell the police about the fire because they had already figured out how it started. Old faulty wiring in one of the electric cords in the ceiling fans. Andrea shivering lightly as she waits for her parents at the police station. They were out at a party for her father's boss.
They were only gone for a few hours and now the house and everything they earned is gone. Everything her parents worked so hard for was now gone. Andrea felt so bad even though she is relieved that she didn't cause the fire. But, she knew that at some point she'd have to stop smoking weed or else, she'd be up in here with murderers, thieves, and other horrible people that committed horrid crimes. She knows that she is better than this.
Seeing her parents, she smiles and runs to them, hugging them. They hug their daughter back. Andrea never ever thought she'd miss her parents so much. The whole thing was scary. Being trapped like that was scary. Tears fill her eye as she hugs her parents tighter, sniffling. But, now the question remains. Where were they going to live now?
