The Underground
The survey corp's handcuff the five teens and make them all kneel on the cold wet cobble stone of the underground. The blonde man who took down Levi was standing in front of the teens "Now I'm going to ask some questions and I want them answered immediately" he says looking down at the group.
The blonde man shows them the trigger handle of one of thier ODM gear "Where did you get this?" He asks. Levi remains silent with his head lowered, Farlan and Isabel look at the blonde man in anger. Evelyn and Carmen exchange looks with each other and remain silent. He then looks directly at Levi "Looks like most of you are skilled with the ODM gear. Who taught you all that?" He asks another question. The teens still remain silent, Evelyn looks over at Levi whos head is still lowered (He looks so defeated...I've never seen him like this before) Evelyn thinks to herself.
The blonde man then gazed at Evelyn and Carmen, he walks over to Evelyn and kneels down to her "I know you" he asks Evelyn directly. Evelyn tilts her head and gives him an awkward look "No" she replies. He raises an eyebrow "Yes" Evelyn then retorts back with a firm "No". This carries on for a bit as everyone else watches them for a moment.
The blonde man then places both his hands on Evelyn's shoulders "I'm sorry about your parents. Your father was a great man..." he says before standing up once more. Evelyn looks at the ground sadly. Levi looks towards Evelyn with a slightly concerned look on his face (Her parents? What happened to them) he thinks to himself.
The blonde man then speaks up again "Miss Scarlet...even though I'm aware of your current situation, I still can't let you go. As for the rest of you..." he the walk in front of Levi and looked down at him "You the leader right? Were you trained in the military?" He asks. Levi remains silent not bothering to look at him.

The second blonde man standing behind the teens suddenly comes up behind Levi, grabbing his hair then slamming his head down into a dirty water puddle. Farlan and Isabel look to the man in shock and anger, Evelyn struggles against her handcuffs in anger and Carmen watches as her friend gets visibly angry.
Isabel growls at the second blonde man "You!!". Evelyn continues to struggle against her cuffs "No, don't hurt him!" she hisses.
Levi turns his head slightly to look at the man who his holding his head down into a puddle, eyes filled with pure hatred. The first blonde man looms over a pinned Levi "I'll ask again, Where did you learn to use the ODM gear?" He asks.
Farlan quickly turns his gaze to the first blonde man "Not from anyone! We learnt it by ourselves!" He blurts out. The first blonde man looks towards Farlan "Self taught, you say? I don't buy it" he says in response.
Evelyn let's out a huff "I taught them alright!" She lies. Evelyn gazes at the blonde leader "I also gave them thier ODM gear...you said you knew my father? Then your aware he owns the weapon division and is the lead engineer. It be easy for me to acquire the damn thing's" she lies again.
The blonde leader looks at Evelyn "Is that so?" He asks. Evelyn gives a small stern nod "Now let him go!" She pleads. The two blonde men exchange glances with one another before Levi is pulled up. The blonde man kneels down in front of Levi "My name's Erwin Smith and yours is?" He says looking at Levi dead in the eyes.

Levi is silent for a moment before answering "Levi" Erwin nods slightly "Levi...why don't we make a deal?" He asks the teen. Levi glares at the man for second "Deal?" He replies. Erwin continues to look at Levi dead in his grey eyes "I will let your crimes go unpunished. In return lend me your strength and join the survey corp's with your associates" he says.
Evelyn and Carmen look at each other for a moment "Wait...he doesn't mean us two also does he?" Carmen whispers to her friend Evelyn and Evelyn remains silent.
At this moment everyone has thier eyes on Levi and Levi looks up at Erwin in slight surprise "And if I refuse?" He asks "The military police will have you, considering all your crimes over the years, I doubt you and your friends will be treated kindly" Erwin replies standing up.
Evelyn glances up towards Erwin "And what about us?" She asks calmly. Erwin looks down towards the two young girls "Same goes for the both of you as well...nobles you may be but getting involved with gangs with such high crime records is something serious and for that I both can't let you walk freely" he answered.
Carmen eyes widen fear spreading across her face and Evelyn grinds her teeth together "What! On what grounds did Carmen get involved in any of this you damned bastard?!" She hisses with rage. Erwin raises a brow "On the grounds that she is your accomplice. Also im aware of your current crime record too...arson being the latest crime you committed" he replies sternly.
Evelyn lowers her head in defeat (Damnit...I should have just gone to school today...) she mentally kicks herself. Levi glances at the two girls who both look mentally stressed. Levi then looks up towards Erwin "Fine..." he says. Farlan and Isabel gasp in shock. Levi spat out some dirty water that was in his month "I'll join the survey corp's" he says giving a cold glare towards Erwin.

Erwin nods to his other soldiers, the other solider then start removing the cuffs of all five teens. Evelyn and Carmen look at each when released "Hey wait...I haven't chosen shit yet" Evelyn calls to Erwin, Erwin nods in response "Your boyfriend made the choice for you all" he replies. Evelyn narrow her eyes at the man "Whatever man...I'll be going now anyway" she says grabbing Carmen's arm pulling her towards the stairs. Erwin blocks the two from leaving "Where do you think you're going?" He asks. Evelyn rolls her eyes at him "Away from you mostly" she the pushes past him. Erwin watches as she walks off dragging her friend behind her "I expect to see you both at the barricks tomorrow" he calls to them.
Levi who's standing next to Farlan and Isabel watches as Evelyn walks away. Farlan nudges Levi slightly "You should go after her" he pleads. Levi looks to Erwin for approval, Erwin nods "Remember if you think about running, we still have your friends" he threatens. Levi glares at Erwin before going after Evelyn.
Evelyn continues to walk with Carmen towards the stairs out of the underground "I'm sorry..." Evelyn lets out sad mumble. Carmen smiles weakly "No...it's fine, I'll be okay" she says weakly. Evelyn continues to walk with her friend not really knowing what to say to her, then suddenly Evelyn is grabbed by the wrist. Evelyn turns her head thinking to herself (What now...) she see's it's Levi who grabbed her. Carmen looks at the both of them for a moment "Umm Evelyn I'll wait up top for you okay" she says before running towards the stairs.
Before Evelyn could protest Carmen was already gone "Eva...I'm sorry about getting you involved into this mess" Levi says with sadness in his eyes. Evelyn smiles awkwardly "No don't be it's my fault...I got myself involved" she speaks softly.
Evelyn reaches into her jacket pocket pulling out a clean white rag. She steps closer to Levi using her free hand to whipe his dirty face with the clean rag "Wow they really dirted you up huh?" She softly speaks. Levi remains silent and gazes into Evelyn's deep blue eyes while she cleans the dirt off face. Levi still holding onto Evelyn's wrist uses his free hand to brush a strand of hair out of her face "Eva I'm sorry about before...I've missed you" he speaks with a soft expression. Evelyn smiles at him "Yeah...Well I too am sorry. I missed you aswell, not having someone to argue with about cleaning is rather boring" she explains with a smile.
Evelyn finishes cleaning Levi's face off and puts the now dirty rag away in her jacket pocket. Evelyn then pulls away slightly as she realizes that she was really close to Levi "Anyway, I should be going now. I've got important things to sort out...but I'll probably see you at boot camp tomorrow with captain eyebrows" she then gently pulls her wrist out of Levis grasp. Levi chuckles a little "Yeah I'll see you tomorrow then" he replies. Evelyn then rushes towards the stairs waving goodbye to Levi.
Levi sighs before walking back towards his friends Farlan and Isabel, Erwin weavey around them. Levi stands next to Farlan who has a smirk on his face "So how that go?" Farlan teases. Levi rolls his eyes and makes a tsk sound "Fine" he simply responds.
Erwin looks closely at trio observing them individually before speaking "All right, now that you'll ready. We'll be off there's carriage outside waiting to take us to HQ" he explains. The group of soliders lead the trio to the surface.
