The Underground
Levi sits at his desk at home looking at his current job offers that are all individually written down on pieces of paper. Farlan and Isabel sweep the floor together while chatting with each other. Isabel had joined the two older boys four months ago after they saved her from a group of men who chased for trying to reach the top of the stairs trying to save a small white bird who had a broken wing.
Farlan and Levi had thought the young girl to use the ODM gear as she wanted to be able to fly like birds do and to give her some sense of freedom.
The young girl even saw the two older boys like family as time went on and even started to call Levi bro.
Since Levi and Farlan got caught up in the slave trade deal, Evelyn has not returned to see her friends since. Even both Farlan and Levi miss her being around they cannot get into contact with her to fix their relationship.
Since Farlan, Levi and now Isabel having all become adept using the ODM gear their jobs have become a lot easier making them earn more money faster. Enough so that Levi has hired others to work for him and build a rather successful thug business.
Even though business is going well for the three the economy in the underground is getting worse as prices have risen sharply in past few months.
Levi let's out a deep pained sigh before standing up from his desk before heading to the front door. Farlan and Isabel watch with a slight confused expression on their faces "Yo Levi where ya going" says Farlan with a raised eyebrow. Levi weaves at him not bothered to turn around to face him "Out..." he replies leaving the building. Farlan breaths deeply before making a huffing sound, Isabel looks out Farlan with a half smile "What's wrong with Levi bro?" she questions the older man.
Farlan looks at the young ginger girl with sad eyes "He's probably just missing Evelyn" he replies sadly. Isabel gives Farlan a confused look and tilts her head slightly "Evelyn? Who's that?" She asks. Farlan and Isabel put down their brooms and go sit down on the sofa where then Farlan tells Isabel about Evelyn and why she hasn't been around for the past seven months.
Meanwhile
Levi is walking around the streets of the underground. As he walks around he glances at local poor people littering the streets. Most look to sick and malnourished to even stand up or speak.

Levi continues to walk around the streets with no particular destination in mind. He just wanted to be alone for a bit and think. He wanted to get out of the underground but as things currently were it would take year's to be able to save up for three citizenships and every year the prices would go up again. Levi was starting to think that it was hopeless and he would die in this dark slumish hell hole.
He sighed in frustration before stopping and leaning against a brick wall, he pulled out a letter that was tucked in his back pocket and re read the letter.
Dear Levi
This is Nicholas Lobov a noble from Stohess district. I'm in need of you service, this job is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for someone like you.
Please take care of Erwin Smith from the scouting regiment. As payment I can offer you whatever you desire, even citizenship for you and your associates.

Levi runs a hand through his hair as he thinks about this offer. He had got the letter a little over a week ago and still hasn't decided weather to accept the offer. The job itself was easy enough but after losing his best friend Evelyn he tried to stay away from committing acts of murder in hopes she would return eventually. However he knew this would probably be his only way out of the underground and the only way out for his friends too.
He placed the letter back in his pocket and set off again (I'll accept his offer...one more job then all three of us can get out of this shit hole. At least when I get out of here I can find Evelyn and apologise) he thought to himself with determination.
