He told me stories of people that went there and were met with fifty to a hundred-foot waves constantly coming from every direction,” Dulgit stopped to take a second as if something had hit home while he spoke of this subject.
“My father died when he finally chose to try to explore the world, and when he went to the Outer Waters he had never returned. He told me he would but we found parts of his ship floating through the town I grew up in...”

Alone sat the previously known leader of Faerlu, awaiting his turn to be thrown into what could possibly be the end of his legend. Kai’s head faced down with his eyes closed as he took deep, calmed breaths to remain focused. The area he was in was underneath the seating of the citizens, but far below. It remained dark where he was at everyone had fought except for him at this point. He wasn’t sure who lived or has died, all he knew was that he was next.

Light could be seen breaking through from around the doors.
