For a time, the newly reunited family experienced some semblance of peace. They all moved to France and witnessed the long-awaited nuptials of Mya and Draco, but not before she too blessed Draco with the best gifts he'd ever receive. She had given him twin boys. Dimitri Alwyn and Omari Cade Malfoy brought much joy to the lives of their parents, grandparents, great-grandfather, and uncle.
Following the move to France, new offices were leased and businesses thrived. Lucius took a new business venture and with Draco, they worked with Severus on his potions company. Narcissa opened a boutique and Mya's England bookstore flourished so much, she opened a chain of them in wizarding cities around the world.
Life was so much better for the large family and Mya could not have been happier.
Unfortunately, Dumbledore and Harry Potter finally reared their ugly heads.
The peace the growing family knew was almost completely shattered. Mya enacted her plans for vengeance after years of happiness. Secrets came to light and the whole wizarding world found out exactly who the witch formerly known as Hermione Jean Granger truly was... the daughter of the darkest wizard to ever walk the earth. The only thing Mya managed to keep a secret was the reincarnation of her grandfather and her parents.
Dumbledore's already tattered reputation was destroyed even further when his actions against her became public knowledge. He was thrown into Azkaban for life. He didn't last long, though, and his death rocked his only supporters to their very cores.
Harry Potter blamed Mya for every single bad thing that happened to him since her return and his marriage truly suffered because of it. The last straw occurred when he accused Mya of killing Ron. His wife, Ginny, would not stand for such strong accusations and divorced him when the charges against Mya were dropped. It was Harry's word against Mya's. He wasn't wrong, but since Dumbledore had died before these allegations were made, there was no one else to back Harry up. The whirlwind of trouble those two caused was further confirmation that the move to France was definitely for the best.
When the time came for the twins to start school, Mya and Draco sent them to Durmstrang. Neither of them wanted to deal with any complications that might have arose if they went to Hogwarts instead. The boys are spitting images of their father, both having grey eyes and platinum blond hair. They take after their mother when it comes to all things academics but as soon as mischief comes into play, they take after their father. The blended family couldn't be more proud, especially since the newest member would soon be making herself known.
"Have you narrowed down your list of baby names, love?" Draco asked.
"Yes, actually. How does Anysa Rose sound?" Mya asked.
Draco looked at her fondly. "For your grandmother." Mya nodded with a smile.
"Your grandfather will be thrilled, when will you tell him?" He asked.
"I was planning on telling everyone at dinner once I ran the name by you first," Mya said.
"Sounds good to me," he said.
"If someone told me I would marry a Malfoy all those years ago, I would've hexed them silly." She paused fondly at the memories they made together. "I'm glad you helped me get my memories back. If it wasn't for you--
"Don't even say it," he said interrupting her. "I like to think that is was divine intervention that brought us together."
Mya chuckled. "Riiiiight and what brought these babies?"
"Oh, I think you know," he said wiggling his eyebrows. She giggled, her husband always found ways to make her feel like a blushing schoolgirl with a crush.
"You'll always be my mermaid," Draco said pressing his lips to her forehead.
"And you'll always be my unicorn," Mya said connecting their lips for searing kiss.
