Over the next month, I see Pennywise more and more. I end up seeing him in the barrens about three times. Finally, October comes around and everyone is preparing for Halloween. Angel and I go shopping for costumes and silks and every other thing to dress up as for Halloween. We also end up buying a bunch of decorations to decorate my room with and we help her aunt decorate her house. One day, on our way to my house from school, I see Pennywise. He looks up and sees me. I wave at him. He grins and waves back. I blow him a kiss and continue to my house. Once at my house, we head in the back door and go to my bedroom. As soon as we get in my bedroom, we continue decorating. Angel turns on the TV and brings on live news. Suddenly, halfway through decorating, Angel turns up the volume and beckons to me.
"What? What is it?"
"Watch this."
I watch as the camera zooms in on an object in the sky that seems to be growing larger.
"What is that?"
Angel shrugs. "Don't know."
I run outside to the backyard and look up at the sky. "Oh my God! It's a damn asteroid!"
"What?" Angel steps beside me. She looks up at the sky. "It's getting bigger."
"OH MY GOD!!"
"Are we gonna die?"
"I don't know!" I watch as the asteroid gets bigger and bigger by the minute. "It's either headed straight to the high school or..."
"Or?"
"...My house."
"That's not good." She sighs. "What are we going to do?"
"What do you mean?"
"There's no telling how big that asteroid is. That thing could wipe out Derry!" She gasps. "Oh my God!"
"What?"
"Look!" She points over to the meadow. "You see it?"
I follow her finger and see it. The back of Pennywise.
"Pennywise?"
"That's who it looks like." Angel ducks behind me. "He's turning around."
I watch as Pennywise turns around and sees me. He waves and grins. I look up at the growing asteroid. There's no telling how long that thing has been in the sky. I look back at Pennywise. Somehow he seems closer. I look at the place where he was. Because he is closer. He moved while I wasn't looking. He looks close enough to climb over the fence. Angel moves out from behind me and backs up.
"Penny?" She sounds worried.
I look back up at the asteroid. "It's heading towards the school." I watch out of the corner of my eye as Pennywise inches closer. His grin spreads wider, seemingly tearing his face in two. Suddenly, the asteroid swerves and heads towards me. I just stand there, mesmerized. It's so hypnotizing.
"PENNY!!"
I watch as the asteroid swerves back to towards the school. I watch as it gets closer to impact. Pennywise is closer than ever. The asteroid hits with an explosion and I watch in wonder. Suddenly, I feel like I'm flying, but backwards. I hit the ground and everything goes black.

"Penny! Penny, wake up!"
I moan. "Huh? What happened?" I try to sit up.
"Penny!"

She sighs and sits on the bed.
I get up and sigh. "What the hell happened?"
"We were just outside watching an asteroid hit not far from the school. As soon as it hit, you went flying and went unconscious."
"Why?"

Suddenly, I see something glowing under my closet door.
"Huh? What's that?" I walk over to the closet, open the door, and pull out the trunk. I open it up. "What the hell? Why is it glowing?" I throw the sheet aside and dig around in the trunk. I find a small box. It's the source of the glowing.
"What on earth is that?"
"I don't know." I look around it. "Psh. It's a dumb jack in the box."
Suddenly, the handle starts turning and music plays. It pops open and reveals a miniature Pennywise with his eyes glowing.
"Ah!" I throw it across the room. I look around. "Where's my damn hammer?" I search through my drawers. "Aha! There it is." I grab my hammer and walk over to where I threw the jack in the box. I pick it up and set it on my floor. I sit down and bring back the hammer. I smash the hammer into the jack in the box and it starts stuttering. "Die, die, die, die, die, die, die, DIE!!"
"Oh my God. Penny, seriously?"
"What?" I look up at Angel. "It's very relieving. Not as fun as beating the shit out of Pennywise himself, but, I mean, it works."276Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡlRA5uUwwWV
I stand up and throw the hammer aside. I pick up the jack in the box and chuck it at the wall. I do it again, and again, and again until it falls to the floor and crumbles. I let out a whoosh of air. I go to turn away, when it lets out a giggle. I turn around and stomp on it ten times.
"Ha, bish. Beat that." I turn around. "Now shut up." I turn around. I walk over to my closet and reach up to the top shelf. I grab a bag and turn around. I walk over to my bed and open the bag. I let the items inside fall out.276Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡBUTEk1RSvT

"What do they look like?"
"Balloons."
"Mmhm. Red balloons that say I <3 Derry." I sigh. "Angel, can you go get me my helium pump?"

She comes back with my helium pump and I fill up five balloons with just the right amount of helium. They float across the room midair.
"How on earth did you do that?"

"That's crazy."
"I learned about it by watching a video on Youtube."
"Oh. Of course. Because every answer is on Youtube, right?"
"No. I just wanted to watch it and that's how I learned it."
"Oh." She shrugs. "Whatever."
"Here, take a balloon."
"No. I hate balloons."
"Why?"
"Because."
"Are you like my mom? Do you have globophobia?"

"Okay. Whatever." Suddenly, I feel an intense pain. I cry out and fall to the floor.
"Penny!" She kneels down. "Penny, are you okay?"
"No. It hurts."
"What hurts?"
"I don't--" My vision dances and everything goes black.
