I loved you reverently, with every ounce of conviction as a sinner in the presence of god

Every breath I took I wish it was from your lungs

Intertwined, never to be apart

The moonlit roses you planted still blossom,

Creating a captivating aurora

My mind tricks me thinking you still wander these halls

I'll follow you until the ends of earth

You left me nothing but the lingering trace of your touch

Sometimes I see your face, and it tears my heart apart knowing you're not here

I'll stay waiting for the glimpses of you in times gone by
