I picked up the hat from the grassy floor. “Where did you come from?” I felt a tugging at my sleeve. “Yes?” I looked behind me to see a translucent woman. “Is this yours?” I held out the hat, the woman nodded as I put it on her head. “What brings you here anyway?” The woman pointed to my bed.”Yeah I sleep there.” She held out a glob of candle wax.”You want me to make a candle?” I carefully took the wax watching her .”Yes.” I jumped in surprise. My mouth wasn't supposed to be moving without me speaking! I turned to ask questions but she was gone, hat and all. I put the wax in an empty jar, now to find a wick.

I felt like I had been walking for hours, every bone in my body was screaming for a break. “Hello!” I screamed hoping for some sort of response. “Jasmine?” I looked around, who was that? “I'm here!” I felt stupid for giving away my location but it was better to get any help I could. “Jasmine?” I stood still resisting my urge to hide.”Over here!” I screamed as my palms broke into a cold seat. I don't even remember my name, this shot panic throughout my entire body. “There you are!” I looked at the man, he was tall,stocky, and looked upset. He gripped me in a tight hug, too tight. Then I blacked out.

Ugh,my head is pounding. “My Lady.” I open my eyes to see a knight rush to my side. “Are you alright?” I shooed him away with my hand. “My head just hurts.” He seemed relieved at the sound of my voice. “You fell pretty far.” I didn't remember the fall but I could have hit my head.”The nurse said you were lucky.” Of course the nurse would say that, anything to make him shut up. “Yep.” He stood there , uncertainty in his eyes.I smiled softly. He assisted me out of bed, then suddenly and violently I was swept away, torn from familiarity.
