Two months ago, Megan found a genie. Now, the bottle’s gone her wishes don’t work. Her popularity’s slipping, she’s suddenly failing all of her classes, and she's getting ready to get kicked off the track team. She hasn't used all of her wishes yet, so what could be going on?
When Jake finally shows back up at school, he’s not talking to her; he’s not even acknowledging she exists. But things had been going fine before, weren’t they? She’s not sure what’s going on, but she knows she’s going to have to fix this. If she can’t, she might be running the risk of repeating junior year. More importantly, she might lose Jake altogether. And there's only one way to do it; she's going to have to figure out who took that bottle and steal it back. She just has to do it before whoever it was makes their wishes and gets rid of that bottle for good. But was it a stranger? Or worse, one of her own friends?

Megan, a struggling student, has to navigate the magically-induced pitfalls bringing a genie to high school causes in order to keep her life from spiraling completely out of control.
Sitting at the bus stop late one night, Megan comes across an old bottle. When she opens it, a kid her own age appears, ready to grant her whatever she wants. So, she wishes to be popular – what could go wrong?
As Megan's life takes a drastic turn for the better, she gets a little cocky, agreeing to let the genie come to school. Before she knows it, he's worming his way into every part of her life: he's in all her classes, friends with her brother, and getting invites to hang out with her friends. But once she starts spending time with him, Megan finds she has a new problem. Despite her best efforts, she's starting to see him as almost a friend. But can she really trust him?
Confused for a snake, a baby dragon is pulled from a snare and carefully nursed back to health.
As it regains strength, it gives its savour a Wish; an orb filled with liquid that grants any desire.
But with it being under-developed, every Wish has its own darkness that accompanies it with the worse consequences.
