It was a quiet day outside but it wasn't a peaceful one. The war has caused so much tension lately, most would not even leave their homes.
This was the first time that the man was able to see the outside world after more than a decade of confinement.
The scenery outside however was not a pleasant one. The sky was dark, the land was spoiled and even the air had an eerie feeling.
He stood on a street with a view of the entire city. Flags and banners decorated every inch of the city, sirens spewing out propaganda and battalions of soldiers marching about.
"Here take this," a voice spoke.
He turned around and saw the young woman , The High Kommandant, handing him a gas mask.
"The air... isn't what it used to be," She said.
He didn't respond and just ignored her entirely .
"It's best if you take it. I don't want to risk you taking a lung disease."
"I don't need it," He muttered.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, now go and get yourself killed too, you're no use to me alive."
The woman stared into his eyes, "Do you even know who I am?"
He looked at her with a unamused look.
"Your name is Edelweiss Anne Heinrich, your the daughter of the Kaiserin Katherine. Your fath... Mentor was Heinrich Von Friedrich..."
He explained.
"You seem to know much about me, considering you have in imprisonment for 16 years," Edelweiss said.
"Trust me, I know all the wrong things about you and your mother," He said coldly.
Edelweiss frowned, "You should learn some better manners if you intend to live long enough."
With that, she turned around and waited near the street. Soon and armored van came by.
"Come on... Wölfe," She said as she got on, "That is your name, right?"
He scoffed but nonetheless climbed onto the vehicle, driving away and towards the airport.
