So, as of today the first chapter of New Infinity's very last story archive is going up. I started New Infinity all the way back in 2014 following a previous botched original fiction story I began writing after the success of my first, last, and only fanfiction. When I started New Infinity, I was a fledgling writer with a lot of ambition looking forward to my senior year of high school. Now, I am a third year college student getting seriously involved with game design and development. When I started writing New Infinity, I was the editor and co-star of Source Code, a YouTube gaming channel I ran with my friends that had just 10 videos uploaded. Since then, the channel has grown to 281 videos and I have become the director of editing there, taking what knowledge I learned working on Source Code to reboot my own personal channel with gaming videos and editorials, which has given my personal YouTube page more traffic than it has ever seen, period. When I started writing New Infinity, I was still nervous about sharing my work online as anyone could find it, label it "Cringey", and I would wake up the next morning to a flood of hatemail. This never happened with any of my previous works, but when I started writing New Infinity, the days of when I was constantly harassed by my peers on Facebook for my interests were still very fresh.
That's all behind me now. New Infinity has been a transformative experience for me and writing its final arc has been a lot of fun. I cannot wait to wrap up the adventures of Ash and Felix, and then we can get to talking about possible expansions or new writing pieces. And don't worry, those aren't going to take 3 and a half years to finish. Promise.
